You can easily navigate around the site. I also love the many offers provided to help with weight loss, exercise, sleep, time management, eating healthy and stress management. **What do you dislike about Personify Health?** There is honestly nothing I dislike about the site. It’s really great and I recommend it to my staff and counterparts as well as friends. **Recommendations to others considering Personify Health:** What an amazing product to offer your employees for stress management, financial management, and creating a healthier lifestyle! **What problems is Personify Health solving and how is that benefiting you?** I’m learning to manage myself outside of the office as well as in which I appreciate that my employer values. ### 2. Adding an incentive based platform to your business is a good way to get more employee participation. **What do you dislike about Personify Health?** The interface is so glitchy. Especially in the challenges screen, sometimes I'll log an activity all week and it'll tell me i haven't tracked it at all. **What problems is Personify Health solving and how is that benefiting you?** The largest problem being addressed is how unhealthy our society has become. By taking strides to encourage employee health, companies can save money on the long run on health insurance and short/long term disability. Prevention is the first step! ### 3. Deciding which programs with Virgin Pulse to participate in is a lot to take in at first until you start playing around in it. **Recommendations to others considering Personify Health:** Hold a web conference or meeting to explain how to use Pulse since the wide variety of features and programs can be overwhelming to a new user. **What problems is Personify Health solving and how is that benefiting you?** Serves as a company-wide wellness program set up by HR to encourage healthy behaviors and habits. ### 6. It certainly lends an air of accountability and competition to our activity levels since step counts can be tracked between 'friends' on the app. It tries hard to look at the concept of wellness holistically and not just as activity or nutrition alone. **What do you dislike about Personify Health?** Some of the cards of the day can be really hokey and not terribly inspiring. It also feels a bit like the food/nutrition side of things is only half thought out and doesn't feel 100% integrated into the rest of the application for some reason. **Recommendations to others considering Personify Health:** Keep it going! Don't implement it and forget about it - keep reminding employees that it's there and that they can get actual rewards for participating in it. **What problems is Personify Health solving and how is that benefiting you?** It's a good app for encouraging employees to be more active (even if that activity is just taking more steps in a day) and fosters some friendly competition that can lead to stronger working relationships outside of the challenges. ### 7. The use of gamification to get employees active and moving really works! I've exercised so much more since joining in at my company. **What do you dislike about Personify Health?** Sometimes the user interface is slow or messes up, but it's not common. **Recommendations to others considering Personify Health:** Buy a FitBit or Apple Watch or other device rather than using the Max pedometer they offer. It just falls off alot when you wear it. Often too many people sign in at the same time, so the Virgin Pulse servers cannot handle the load. The financial incentives come on a quarterly basis, if earned, so this can be a regular addition to our employees' overall financials if they are active in using this service provided to them. I like the option to either have it worn as a pedometer, or to wear it more like an activity tracker with a band accessory. **What do you dislike about Personify Health?** I dislike the manual logging of the activities. I wish there was a way for this to sync up, or send easy to track reminders that the employees can click on the go. Ideally, I wish Virgin pulse would sync up to our Zip thru accounts so that when an employee purchases healthy lunch choices, the employee is instantly rewarded with those points. I feel that utilization drops off because our employees do not see an instant boost. **Recommendations to others considering Personify Health:** Encourage employee utilization at the stage of onboarding. Without gaining that employee buyin from the critical starting point, the program will not gain traction within the organization. **What problems is Personify Health solving and how is that benefiting you?** Wellness and employee engagement are targeted with this program.
