"What a great tool for creating high quality animation quickly!"
5/5
What do you like best about VideoScribe?

It’s so easy to create something that really impresses stakeholders and the audience. Every time I use it, I get really positive feedback on how professional the end result is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VideoScribe?

It’s slow. It can be really slow, I’ve done some research and it seems this is common among users. It’s inconsistent in when it chooses to go slow. Doesnt crash, which is good, but often can hang up on tasks for a few minutes at a time, which can make the build process more time consuming than it needs to be and quite frustrating. "This animation and video editing solution has been easy to use"
5/5
What do you like best about VideoScribe?

The type of animations that VideoScribe can generate right at the point of signing up are as good as many animations I've taken days to create in other software. The drawing animation look that VideoScribe can create is engaging and helps to move people's attention along with the video presentation. The simple in and out movement animations is also very effective in helping to keep viewers following along. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VideoScribe?

I don't like the pricing and having to log into the platform in order to use it. I would rather be able to download an application package and be able to use it indefinitely with future updates I can pay for as needed. The file types are somewhat limited and there aren't as many advanced layering options that would allow me to further edit the clips with advanced effects in other video editor software. "High quality animation solution for that can improve business and marketing content"
4/5
What do you like best about VideoScribe?

The way the control panel is designed makes it simple for me to use. I don't have to look through tons of different tools as I would in common video editing software. Many of the tools in VideoScribe have instructions next to them that clearly point out what the effect does. We can simply enter an effect and how long we want it to last. It's as if the software were designed so that anyone that use it. To make animations play, we don't have to add coordinates or draw line maps. The software can figure out where the hand icon goes based on the vector information in the imported graphics or fonts. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VideoScribe?

I don't like the freehand nature of some of the view settings and object placement. I would prefer to be able to snap objects into place and create consistent view configurations. That would allow me to have smoother transitions when working with design stages from two or more different VideoScribe presentation files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The most complete whiteboard video program"
4/5
What do you like best about VideoScribe?

Videoscribe is an excellent program to make whiteboard videos. Very easy to use, in a matter of 2 hours you can already have a whiteboard video There are a lot of images in the library that I can choose from. There is also a variety of music that you can select for the videos. You can record the video in full HD and it has several formats to choose from. I also like that you can select the hand that you write in the video, there is even a baby's hand. I think it's great that I can export images and use them in videoscribe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VideoScribe?

They are several things. First, that the cartoons do not move, they are static. I also wish there were more images. There are premium images that videoscribe sells, but they are very expensive. It would also be excellent to sell a package of caricatures at a good price ... And another thing that I can not let go is that it would be excellent to put the mp4 format when recording the videos. "Packs solid and useful effects for business presentations"
4/5
What do you like best about VideoScribe?

The intuitive nature of the VideoScribe animations tools are what I like the most. I don't need to perform typical timeline key animations or apply complicated movement paths to every single animated element. I can simply drag elements around to change position or resize them. VideoScribe has a decent amount of customization options that help to make our whiteboard videos stand out from others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VideoScribe?

Though it is possible to customize our videos with a good amount of depth, doing so may require a sizeable amount of creativity to look different than the standard hand-drawn animated whiteboard video. To get more advanced customizations may require exporting VideoScribe video clips into other video editing software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A simple tool for creating engaging videos"
4/5
What do you like best about VideoScribe?

VideoScribe has a very user-friendly interface with controls that a novice video editor can feel comfortable using. Unlike many standard video editors, there aren't a ton of knobs, dials and sliders to adjust all soft of different settings. VideoScribe mostly keeps it simple with intuitive drag-and-drop functions that allow us to place and move objects around the editing stage as we would if they were pieces of paper on a table in front of us. About the animations from VideoScribe, I like the text writing effect the most. I think it's very smooth and lifelike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VideoScribe?

I don't like that we can snap video assets into place. I'd like to be able to align items precisely, which would help when I need to match items from videos created in other software. When items aren't matched correctly, merging the VideoScribe files with other video files will be difficult to do smoothly. We'll often notice small position jumps where the off items are located. Response from Barry Radford of VideoScribe

Hello Bruce,

Thanks for the review and glad you are finding it useful and easy to use.

Just thought I would respond to share a trick with you to help with your dislike. VideoScribe contains grid lines which are designed to help with alignment. You'll see a ruler around the top and left edge of the canvas and if you click on it a blue line will appear which you can drag to position. If you need several just keep click on the ruler again and another will appear. These will not show on the preview or finished video, they are just there as guidelines for alignment.

"Create dynamic and fun animated videos with ease"
4/5
What do you like best about VideoScribe?

Video Scribe has simple tools for create dynamic animated video assets. I comes with many graphics and icons that we can use and also allows us to import images of our own. We can even change the animated hand graphic to an image of our own, like a pen, paint brush or our own hand holding a pencil. The editing tools a straightforward enough for anyone to adjust. There are clear instructions for setting animation durations and styles. We can have graphic assets drawn in or moved in. The text animation is generally smooth and looks like an actual person writing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VideoScribe?

Though the effects are great and unique, there aren't as many effects as I'd like for the price. I still think it's worth the price, but I'd like to see more standard features like masking, snapping and coordinates information. To make Video Scribe videos more customized, I'll usually have to import the video into a separate video editor, which can be a hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy way of creating effective visual graphics"
5/5
What do you like best about VideoScribe?

I like how easy it is to use. With such a comprehensive asset library, you don't need to spend too long creating an effective animation. Clients always comment on how professional they look and how the style of Videoscribe animations communicates their message clearly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VideoScribe?

I really don't dislike anything. I suppose it would be good to have more free assets as some of them are quite expensive but that's me being picky! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A simple video creation tool with eye-catching animation features"
4/5
What do you like best about VideoScribe?

Video Scribe makes it easy to create quick and fun business videos without much technical knowledge about video editing. The menus and options are relatively straightforward with instructions next to buttons and settings options. Most of the adjustments to the video assets, such as images and text, only require you to drag various parts of the assets to adjust sizes, position or rotation. One of the main features of Video Scribe is its ability to animate the drawing of text and certain graphics. This effect is very eye-catching and helps the viewer follow along with the content of the video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VideoScribe?

I think the overall video editing capabilities of Video Scribe are somewhat limited. Even though one of the main features of these features is the animated drawing and movements, I feel they should be able to provide tools that allow users to position items in precise locations or at least display information about size and location. The effects that Video Scribe can execute are more commonly seen in videos nowadays, so I think you have to spend more time to create VS animations that stands out and looks unique.
