When we import a picture from outside then Videoscribe is not able to add special effects to the image like drawing the image. Also, VideoScribe is time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that it is relatively easy to create what appears to be a very professional video. With simple text and images, that can be transformed into something really cool and amazing which actually really does wow audiences. It is easy to add music and different pen and hand effects too. I've personally struggled with understanding how the zoom works on the canvas and trawling through various help and FAQs has not really helped. It's been a matter of trial and error (a lot of it) to get a finished product that I am truly happy with.

There are a few features missing in my opinion ... it would be good if you could clone a scribe ... also if you copy and paste features within a scribe itself, it's sometimes a little bit iffy. I wish there were more guidelines to line things up perfectly too. Sometimes it's not 100% accurate. Finally the canvas doesn't always show images I know are there - like bullets ... unless I'm at a particular zoom level they appear invisible.

Weirdly it's also hard to save a file exactly where you want it.

My final gripe is trying to create an MP4. You can do it but it's a bit of a faff compared to other formats, meaning you have to upload first to a cloud-based platform and then download again as an MP4. At least it's achievable though :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like that VideoScribe has tools that are straightforward compared to the dozens of tools we may see in some more professional video editing applications. The VideoScribe animation section itself, where we can set the duration of animations along with the speed, can be done with simple number field configurations. I don't even think many people will have to read through instructions in order to just go in and set those settings. There are not any effective snapping features that allow us to align and position various objects in the stage how I’d like. When I need to set things up a certain way or coordinate it with an external video, it's very important, or at least much faster for me, to be able to just put in X and Y coordinates so that they match up with the other videos. I have been using VideoScribe for more than 4 years because I liked it from the first moment I used it. It is really easy to use, I can make whiteboard videos in minutes. What I like most is how well designed the cartoons are in the image library, it has so many that I have not had the opportunity to use them all. I like that I have a library of music that you can put in the background in the videos, I can also place my logo in the lower right corner throughout the video as a watermark. And I love the fact that I can export the videos in high quality 1080p and upload it to social networks. VideoScribe works excellent, but I would like them to improve in these 2 areas:

First, when I am creating the animation, if the video is very long and has many drawings then videoscribe gets heavy and many times it is paralyzed and I have to forcefully close the program and lose a lot of information that I had already made.

Second, Premium cartoons are very expensive, I find it impossible to buy one for the high cost of it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
