Recommendations to others considering VideoPad:

Start with an easy project and export it several times using different codecs so that you can test posting it on different platforms or the one you're using it for. I have not been able to export my videos to any social media platforms and I don't know if that's on me because I've always just exported to my computer. Also, keep track of your confirmation/order number after purchasing because sometimes after an update it might think of you as a new user and try to make you repurchase the software. What problems is VideoPad solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about VideoPad?

VideoPad is a simple video editor which is good for anybody to use to record videos etc, or to edit any quick videos. It's lightweight and easy to use. There is a free version for anybody wanting to just test out the software and this allows people to get a good taste of what they are paying for (if they like the software and decide to pay for it). What do you dislike about VideoPad?

There are a couple flaws with VideoPad, the program is not the most stable and can experience some performance issues whilst using it. The user interface is pretty old and outdated (something like Windows Movie Maker) and there is little to no support for animated videos with special effects etc. It's a simple video editor. What do you like best about VideoPad?

There are many options to add transitions, control sound on video, add voice over or music as well as captions and/or titles. With titles, they can be adjusted to type of text, size, fill and if it moves across the screen. One transition that I use at the end of most videos is the screen changing with a heart shape. Photos are easily added between videos and can have the time they are displayed easily adjusted. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VideoPad?

Playback can be rather choppy. Often I have to save the project and then view it to see if it is what I want. Also, it would be nice to have the ability to edit 360 photos to remove tripod legs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about VideoPad?

This video editor, apart from being very easy to use, has many functions, to do everything in a professional and simple way, especially when giving a better presentation, it has many accessories from capturing and recording the screen to insertions of text and images in the videos, in addition to multiple effects to add, we can separate and join video or audio clips, or separate them in order to create a job with a good presentation, it also allows you to add watermarks or blurs, degrade colors or Adding various formats and animations, allows you to export the finished videos and give them the right size whether the platform is dedicated to your view. What do you like best about VideoPad?

I like that VideoPad is the best-hidden secret in the world of video editing, it is such a powerful tool that has made me change the programs that traditionally recommend you to use for jobs. Its interface is really useful and pleasant, it is one of the things I like most, it offers me in the same window everything necessary to achieve the best results for the requests that each client asks me for their audiovisual products. Effects and transitions are too useful and very similar to what is used in the market. Another element that I like a lot, is the diversity of options that it offers to users when exporting the final product, it is so incredible that you can select the platform where you will upload it, so you should not add extra work to adapt, It is a resource that VideoPad offers and that I love. What do you like best about VideoPad?

It is a video editor that offers a wide variety of tools to enhance, perfect, and add animations to your videos. It was of great help to me for editing videos and then uploading them to my YouTube channel as well as to my social media. It offers a very easy, comfortable, and secure interface when selecting the animations you want to add to your videos, and the best part is that you can use it for free without having to make any kind of payment. What do you like best about VideoPad?

VideoPad is a video editing software that has enough tools to make it worth its price, but it omits some of the useful features found in other programs. However, for non-commercial use, and this interests us, it offers a very attractive free home version.

It has a very intuitive interface where it is possible to add different types of effects on its timeline, as well as photos or videos, even chroma key videos.

It lacks some features, such as an automatic video creator, themes, templates, and a slide creator that would be useful for novice and casual users.
