"Secure Video Conferencing with Professional Compliance"
4/5
What do you like best about VideoMost Server?

I appreciate most about VideoMost Server is its strong focus on security and compliance, which is essential for professional environments like our law firm. The on-premises deployment allows us to keep all client video sessions, case discussions, and shared documents fully under our control, aligning with German GDPR and legal confidentiality requirements. The end-to-end encryption and detailed access permissions give us confidence when handling highly sensitive legal materials. I also value its stable video performance and smooth document sharing during client consultations and remote hearings. It is designed for professional use, with reliable connectivity and no unexpected interruptions. Overall, it delivers a secure, consistent, and compliant communication system that truly understands the needs of a legal practice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VideoMost Server?

While VideoMost Server excels in security, there are a few areas that could be better tailored to a busy law firm workflow. The user interface feels somewhat dated and less intuitive compared to modern collaboration tools, meaning our team occasionally needs extra time to locate settings or manage participant permissions. The mobile experience is also less polished; screen sharing and document navigation can be slow on tablets, which is inconvenient when reviewing case materials outside the office. Additionally, integration with common legal practice software is limited, requiring manual file transfers instead of seamless syncing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Secure Video Conferencing for Enterprises"
4/5
What do you like best about VideoMost Server?

I like that VideoMost Server gives us full security, control, and reliability, which cloud-based tools don’t offer. Its self-hosted nature ensures we don't have to worry about third-party data access or compliance risks, crucial for our work. I appreciate its strong stability with large audiences; company-wide meetings and training sessions run smoothly without lag or dropped connections. The enterprise-grade security and self-hosted deployment are priorities, letting us keep all data fully under control. The white-label branding lets us customize the interface to match our brand, making client-facing interactions professional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VideoMost Server?

The biggest pain point is the initial setup and deployment process. Being self-hosted, it requires more IT work, server configuration, and network tuning compared to cloud tools. The onboarding isn’t as intuitive, and we had to rely on technical support to get everything running properly. For teams without strong in-house IT, this can be a real barrier. "Reliable, Secure, and Media-Ready Communication"
4.5/5
What do you like best about VideoMost Server?

I really like VideoMost Server's strong security and full data control as a self-hosted solution, which is absolutely critical for our work in media and communications. It allows us to handle sensitive interviews, confidential press briefings, and exclusive content recording with complete peace of mind, knowing all our media assets and conversations stay under our own governance. Beyond security, I value its stable, high-quality video performance and reliable recording features. Even during long media events or remote interviews, the connection stays consistent, and the output quality remains professional enough for our content production. Having a dependable, secure, and media-ready platform all in one place greatly supports our daily operations and helps us maintain the high standards required in the media industry. What do you dislike about VideoMost Server?

While VideoMost Server performs well for our core media and communication needs, there are a few areas that could be enhanced. The user interface can feel somewhat outdated and less intuitive compared to modern cloud-based video platforms, which creates a slight learning curve for new team members. Some advanced editing features for recorded interviews and media content are limited, requiring us to use additional external software for post-processing. Additionally, the platform offers fewer built-in integrations with popular media production and content management tools, which sometimes adds extra steps to our workflow. "Ultimate Self-Hosted Video Collaboration for Data-Sensitive Teams"
4.5/5
What do you like best about VideoMost Server?

I really appreciate the 100% self-hosted regional infrastructure and strict data sovereignty that VideoMost Server offers. It's hosted exclusively on our private regional data centers, which ensures zero third-party server involvement and enforces regional data residency. This is vital for our team as it allows us to have absolute, end-to-end control over all meeting data without any third-party access or interference. We enjoy full control over the data lifecycle, with the ability to set custom retention policies, instant deletion capabilities, and granular access to stored data. No data monetization or unexpected access further enhances our trust in maintaining client confidentiality. The initial setup was also streamlined and manageable, and these features combined make VideoMost Server highly valuable for our team's needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VideoMost Server?

I find the breakout room limitations a bit frustrating. There's no auto-recording of individual breakout rooms, just the main call, and I can't sync breakout room whiteboards or chat to the main meeting asset library. Also, setting up and managing breakout rooms for global calls is clunky and time-consuming, especially for regional or project-based rooms. It's manual work that eats into meeting time and can confuse team members about room assignments. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
