It has provided us the ability to manage a high volume selection process in a very timely manner. Having all the information (video recordings, ratings, comments, etc.) stored in one place and being able to share candidate recordings with the raters directly on the platform is very convenient for both the raters and the human resources team. The platform is easy to learn and use and has many useful built in features. Our Client Success Manager, Remi and his team have been absolutely great and very helpful throughout the whole process. He goes above and beyond to accommodate our needs and always makes himself available for a call to answer any of our questions, go through the ''how -to'' with us, provide us with updates, etc. He provides a very good training, is very knowledgeable of the product and has made our first experience using VidCruiter an excellent one. The support team is also very always quick at providing assistance where needed and helped us ensure the video interview process ran smoothly. **What do you dislike about VidCruiter?** There isn't anything we disliked about the product. It has helped us in so many ways. **Recommendations to others considering VidCruiter:** VidCruiter has been an asset to our organization and we would strongly recommend it to any other organization. **What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?** Scheduling interviews has always required a lot of logistics and coordination but the use of VidCruiter's video interviewing has allowed us to efficiently manage our high volume process with a smaller team as candidates had the ability to complete their assessment at their convenience. We also used VidCruiter's built in calendar for automated scheduling for our in-person interviews and this was really a time saver for us. ### 3. Remi and his team are amazing and always are available to assist us far more quickly than we would ever expect or imagine. They jump on a call with us same or next day sometimes, which makes me feel like I am their only client. That of course isn't the case, but that's the level of care they give you. And of course, the video recording technology. It's made admissions so much more personal and fun! **What do you dislike about VidCruiter?** The only downside is that the system I think is capable of far more than we utilize it for. Our program is highly selective, but given our volume we can't personally interview each candidate across the country. The use of Vidcruiter facilitated the administration of a high volume selection process (900 applicants) and allowed us to save multiple weeks in the administration of interviews. **What do you dislike about VidCruiter?** Some reporting functions could be improved like exporting easily data from the platform to Excel for manipulation. Navigating though a candidate's progress can sometimes be cumbersome and not always intuitive. **Recommendations to others considering VidCruiter:** Do it! It has great capabilities in terms of video interviews at very competitive prices if you are looking strictly for a platform. Other vendors have ready to use validated tests but a much higher price. The support team is there to assist you in implementing their products and for the candidates during the assessment through the platform.. **What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?** Scheduling interviews is always a nightmare, but with desynchronized video interviews, this is a thing of the past. No more dealing with time zones, travel, etc. Candidates can do the interview when and where they please, same for the assessors. It is way easier to reschedule listening to an interview if a board member is sick than finding a new one while the candidate waits in the room! Reference checking is also made way easier by having the candidates bear the brunt of the load by having them get the ball rolling on the process, and the system contacting referees directly. ### 20. All of VidCruiter's products prominently display your company's branding giving you a professional look. **What do you dislike about VidCruiter?** VidCruiter wasn't the easiest software to learn, however, compared to other video interviewing software that other state agencies use, I like VidCruiter the best from both a recruiter and an interviewee perspective. It seems that every time I change my password, I have issues with the application recognizing the new password and I get locked out. I would like to see the ability to add to an interview module incrementally. As it stands, each time I have new candidates for the same recruitment, I have to create another position with a different number. Sometimes I have to send the invitations to rate several times before the rater receives the email. **What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?** I like the following features: 1. Customized video templates 2. Recruiter ability to download documents 3. Candidate ability to upload documents 4. Recruiter ability to determine the length of the recording, the number of tries and the preparation time 5. Recruiter ability to set the application to private, thus disabling the video access to applicants who aren't timely 6. Customer support is awesome. Always accessible and timely. 7. Interviewees can view themselves as they interview. I have done video interviews where I am unable to see anything but a black screen. It's weird. ### 22. You can customize the workflow to match your company's processes. Interface is intuitive and easy to navigate. It has the standard ATS features - jobs page, customized candidate questions and rating system, job templates, resume/attachment upload, automated emails, customized notifications, etc. - in addition to the ability to customize screening video questions/options and share applicant videos easily with hiring managers and others in the company. We liked that you could do multi-party video conferences in the system and record them (useful for video interviews where hiring managers are in different offices). Videos can be recorded on PC or on mobile, which was key for us with so many people using their mobile devices nowadays. There is also a built-in calendar integration that allows for automated scheduling and allows you to see the times you and other users have free on your calendar (we use Outlook/Office 365). Vidcruiter's implementation and support team is very friendly, helpful and responsive (shout out to Remi, Sophie and Sophia!). They are knowledgeable of their product and customer needs, provide good training, and are quick to offer solutions and get things done when you have requests for updates, customization or how-to information. **What do you dislike about VidCruiter?** Didn't really dislike anything but the reporting could be a bit more robust (they are working on adding more reports currently) and we did have a few applicants who experienced tech difficulty connecting to the live video conferences, some of which can be caused by web browser security settings, and sometimes can also be user error (tech ability is actually one of the things we are testing for) or poor internet connection, and VC has recently implemented a new video protocol that has made it even easier. For the most part, applicants are able to connect and use it easily (VC has easy step by step instructions with screenshots and a tech check, as well as online chat to assist with this). **Recommendations to others considering VidCruiter:** If you use video and/or assessments as part of your hiring process, Vidcruiter is a good option! **What problems is VidCruiter solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use pre-recorded videos as part of the hiring process and it had previously been very difficult and time-consuming to manage this manually. With Vidcruiter, it's all right there in the ATS. The videos are recorded through the system and they are automatically part of the candidate's record. It's easy to break them up and review them by question. It helped us to not have to spend a lot of time managing video being submitted in a whole bunch of different formats and via email, Dropbox, etc., which was then difficult to share internally and track. It also automated our assessment process. We use a number of accounting assessments and the process used to be very manual - emailing PDF to the candidate, emailing back, following up, saving in a separate network location that wasn't in the ATS with the rest of the applicant info. With Vidcruiter, assessments can be associated to specific jobs, and the link and instructions for the assessment are sent directly to them when you moved them to that stage, and they had a certain amount of time to complete the assessment, and you are automatically notified when it has been completed and the completed assessment was saved in the candidate record where it could be graded. The key thing was that the videos and assessments were built right into the system - you had everything in one place and weren't managing it all manually through email and across multiple systems.
