What do you like best?

This software is very user-friendly and customizable to our staffing needs. Vidcruiter provided excellent support to our HR Team with the integration of this software, and continues to provide next-level support to our team. Between the functionality of the software and the tech support they provide to candidates, Vidcruiter has made our processes infinitely more efficient by covering almost all administrative aspects of recruiting. Remi and Brittany have been so helpful with ensuring that our team is trained, supported and that our staffing processes are set up in an organized and efficient manner. What do you dislike?

The only aspect that has room for improvement is that it can be cumbersome to create custom emails for each process. It would be very helpful if we could edit the email templates from the specific process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

Over roughly 6 months of partnership with VidCruiter, I have been very impressed with their customer service. We have had exceptional guidance, partnership, education, listening and responsiveness from our account representative and other support persons who have helped in implementation and evolution of our configuration and use of the tool. I really like the reliability of the product, the customization capabilities, the integration with our ATS, and the continuing introduction of new features and functionalities as VidCruiter matures. I feel like we are genuinely heard, that our feedback is not just acknowledged but it is incorporated into the future of the platform. When dealing with front-end, customer (candidate)-facing technologies like this, it is so important to feel confident in the product and the company that stands behind it. What do you dislike?

It is not so much a matter of dislike, but an area of concern and caution when it comes to new technology. A potential pitfall of inserting technology into the very human process of hiring is impact on candidate experience; we are finding that it is important to remember that technology can't take the place, entirely, of human interaction in the eyes of candidates. What problems are you solving with the product? What benefits have you realized?

We are able to handle a higher volume of applicants with the same or fewer recruitment resources; hiring managers absolutely love the ability to see and hear candidates directly, rather than getting a written summary of conversations with someone else. And, we are finding that hiring teams are moving more quickly through the process than before, expediting things and achieving greater efficiencies across a high volume of openings. What do you like best?

I did extensive research on all of the competing products in this space and ended up paying for several of them separately and testing them. Vidcruiter blew everyone out of the water, it was not a competition. Their customer support team, their willingness to go the extra mile on customization, and the product features & functionality are incredible. Nothing to note here. My experience has been exceptional. The only thing that I dislike is that I wasted my time tinkering with competitors' products that were priced slightly lower. What do you like best?

What was most helpful about VidCruiter was the fact that it was so user friendly. Once we were up and running Derek and the team ensured we had all the tools available to really make it what we wanted. When we needed the support from the team they were consistently there which was amazing especially given the time difference. Our candidates had no issues in completing what they need through VidCruiter and I just liked how transparent and helpful everyone was. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike?

Sometimes when we needed support on Monday (NZ time) it wasn't available as the time difference made it Sunday (their time) - however this was not a massive drama and didn't cause any major hiccups. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best?

VidCruiter is a great tool that has helped us save an immense amount of time screening candidates for high volume roles. It eliminates the back and forth of scheduling phone screens/interviews because the hiring manager and candidate complete their part on their own time within a specified time frame. VidCruiter gives you the time to plan out your questions for a candidate and keep your interviews consistent. It's user friendly for both recruiters and hiring managers to collaborate on candidate feedback as well. The rating system is very helpful when comparing candidates for a specific role. What do you dislike?

There are some features that aren't as intuitive as you would want them to be. For example, when you are trying to create new video interview templates or invite people to rate. I think the biggest benefit is the amount of time VidCruiter can save a recruiter and ultimately speed up the recruiting process as a role. Our internship program has over 1,000 applicants. VidCruiter allows us to mass send video interviews to candidates. We can then send the videos to each hiring manager to review. What do you like best?

What do you like best?

I love the support I get from Remi and Brittany. They always take my feedback into consideration as the platform continually develops and their communication is quick and helpful. We are now able to interview hundreds of students in a short window of time. This saves tremendously on staff time, travel, hotel costs, etc. In addition it's not easy to get interviewer assessors to show up when they say they are going to in person- Vidcruiter has allowed us to invite more than 10 reviewers per interview to ensure we are getting a balanced and reliable review of each candidate's performance. What do you like best?

Very user-friendly and easy to use for applicants and admin. The VidCruiter team is super friendly and quick to respond to their clients, set up meetings if you need additional help. It's easy to set up new positions with new questions, record videos for those questions, and make the position live.

It has helped our District TREMENDOUSLY with hiring during the summer and during COVID-19. We are able to create a panel online, invite people to be Raters if they are not regular users, etc. Our Administrators can view and rate the interviews while on vacation, from a computer or phone.

I tested the software as the "guinea pig" before we went live with our positions. It's super simple and self explanatory.

We also like that the applicant has to include references and the references receive email notification to complete an online questionnaire that only the software Admin can view. Makes reference checks that much easier!

You get to customize the questions and positions to your specific needs- even down to the number of minutes allotted on answers, prep time for the applicant to read the questions, emails notifications that are sent to applicants, etc.

I highly recommend VidCruiter for any organization that requires any level of hiring, but especially School Districts! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

VidCruiter has helped us with first round interviews and hiring teachers during the summer while Admin and staff are on vacation as well as the COVID-19 pandemic. We are able to send the interview link the same day (upload a spreadsheet from Edjoin or Quick Entry option) and applicants can have their first interview within a day or two of applying. our team reviews videos, rates applicants and we discuss who would like the offer a second interview to certain applicants.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, government staffing has had to move to remote interviews. A lot of departments have had security issues or too much traffic on other services. VidCruiter is another option to propose to clients that offers the security needs of our clients in the federal government of Canada. The biggest bonus to VidCruiter is the fact that we can build templates for our assessment materials that can be reviewed and scored during the Live Interview. What do you like best?

It's a single place to handle our entire candidate flow, and adaptable for junior hires and senior hires alike.

With so many different features, it can definitely be confusing to use, and I know our adminstrators are also learning as they go. It can be a bit tricky to set up and in theory if we can get it set up the way that works well for us we can stick with it -- but new features come out and we want to benefit from them, so it can be a bit of a struggle. At the end of the day, doing everything Vidcruiter does for us instead manually would be much worse, so we're happy Vidcruiter can serve as a platform that covers all the steps for us.

It's useful for our administrators to know that if they want to adjust part of the hiring process they need only adjust it inside Vidcruiter and everything will follow suit. What do you like best?

The system is very user friendly and is somewhat intuitive. It is somewhat error proof and very simple to navigate. The users seem to appreciate that it is fast to set up and that they are able to trust the system to save all of the information they record. What do you like best?

VidCruiter is exactly what it says it is - video recruiting software - but it is so much more. Thresholds has used this product for approximately 2 years and it has streamlined our recruiting process. Best of all, the software is easy to use for HR but even more important, it's straight forward and intuitive for the candidates using it on the other end. Another awesome aspect of VidCruiter is their support staff. Their support chat is quick to respond with an answer right away. If you prefer to call - same great service. What do you dislike?

The only downside is that some candidates are intimidated by video recruiting. As it becomes more popular and well known, this will be an easy hurdle to overcome. The majority of candidates do not have an issue with it, and they always have the option to opt out of a video interview and request a phone call or face to face interview if they prefer. We required an applicant tracking system to streamline our recruiting process. The video interviewing is an added bonus as it allows us to screen candidates by having them complete the first interview automatically. What do you like best?

The Vidcruiter team is incredibly responsive and helpful. Sean proactively reached out to share new updates and features that he thought would help our team. Then he took time to actually help me implement and practice them. Our organization focuses on creating self-sufficient and time-saving solutions, and so many Vidcruiter features help me do just that. What do you like best?

What I love about Vidcruiter over the competition is the fact that the tool is modular so I can build questions into a library with video and sound and reuse it in multiple interview profile. This is great for culture questions and generic interview questions that are the same for all your jobs.

I love the fact that as the recruiter I can review or have line managers review videos, rather than just CV's.

Are you like me that you think attitude and potential is more important to future success that where you have work and your experience? then this is the tool for you! you can now successfully screen attitude and potential at the first rather than the last hurdle, if that sounds good to you try this tool.

Before using Vidcruiter I was using an army of telephone interviewers that were costing me a fortune in freelance costs, and they didn't always know the business as well as I did. with IR35 coming I was prompted to look at other solutions as there was just not enough of me to go round. I sought to solve my IR35 problem and did so whilst also saving around £10K a year!! needless to say I was popular with finance and I was able to use that budget to increase my direct sourcing. VidCruiter is the fourth, and best, video interviewing tool my company has used - it's simple and user friendly, technical issues are very rare, and the support team is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Using Vidcruiter helps us save time during recruitments as we can share and collect information easily about a candidate and work as a team. We can review a candidate's past interviews, resume, cover letter or project at any time, helping us get updated on a candidate without having to reach out to a colleague. Vidcruiter also manages by itself candidates' data and help us quickly understand a candidate's position.

What do you like best?

Large number of applicants to organize and communicate effectively to. We also need the ability to have clear applicant profiles, the videos make it easier for applicants to represent themselves and for hiring managers to make more accurate and faster decisions.
