Vicinity Software provides process manufacturing software for formula- and recipe-based manufacturers. The software extends Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems, including Dynamics GP, SL, NAV, and Dynamics 365 Business Central, with functionality designed to support the specific requirements of batch manufacturing. Vicinity supports formula and recipe management, batch production, production planning and scheduling, raw material inventory, lot traceability, quality control, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing costing. It enables manufacturers to manage variable yields, track ingredient and material usage, monitor production costs, and maintain records throughout the manufacturing process. Through its integration with Microsoft Dynamics ERP systems, Vicinity allows manufacturers to manage process-specific production activities alongside core ERP functions, including financial management, purchasing, sales, and inventory. The software also supports barcode-enabled data collection through integration with Insight Works. Vicinity serves manufacturers across the food and beverage, chemical, and brewing industries, including specialty chemicals, paints and coatings, cosmetics and personal care, pharmaceuticals, flavorings and extracts, meat and dairy products, bakery products, nutraceuticals, craft brewing, and other formula-based manufacturing sectors.
