Viaje.ai is Sciative�s answer to the travel and tourism industry where pricing needs to walk the fine line of constantly juggling between covering costs to run the business and offering discounts for attraction to attract customers without compromising on the brand�s image and maximizing revenues to sustain and grow over a long time. With deep learning algorithms, an AI bot is created for every mode of transport (trains, coaches, aeroplanes, ships, etc.) The bot works 24x7 to forecast demand using pattern-matching algorithms and predicts customer actions, their affinity to seats, stops and more. With every price optimization, the AI bots consider 83 unique parameters such as demand forecasts on the main route, via routes, pre and post-departure discounts, etc. and execute MILPs (Mixed Integer Linear Programs), to identify the optimal seat level prices. While performing these activities, the bot also constantly monitors the supply and demand in the market and generates personalised prices and offers for every customer, unique to their willingness to pay habits and preferences. This is done for more than 1200 routes across India, with close to 3 billion price optimisations daily, with prices refreshed every 15 minutes.
