Vexillo Reviews & Product Details

Built by RBMSoft, a digital transformation and product engineering company, Vexillo is a self-hosted feature flag management platform for teams practicing feature flag driven development. Vexillo separates deployment from release, so code ships to production while individual features stay hidden until a team decides to turn them on, the core pattern behind trunk-based development and safe CI/CD rollouts. The Vexillo platform delivers control through two core capabilities: environment-based flag management and real-time delivery. Teams manage flags independently across development, staging, and production, enabling or disabling features from a dashboard without redeploying. Flag changes push to connected clients in real time over a persistent SSE connection, so updates take effect instantly across every environment. A dedicated React SDK gives development teams a single useFlag() hook for managing flag state, with support for client-side apps, Next.js App Router, and Node.js SSR, making Vexillo a practical feature flag solution for teams building in React and for API development where flag checks run server-side. Because Vexillo is self-hosted, it runs entirely on a team's own infrastructure, with documented AWS deployment guidance covering ECS Fargate, RDS, and CloudFront across multiple regions, keeping data control in-house. Role-based access control and multi-organization support let a single instance serve multiple product or ecommerce teams with isolated flags and API keys. The result is faster, safer feature rollouts and lower production risk, without recurring third-party SaaS costs.
