Vevox has become an essential part of my teaching toolkit. What I love most is how versatile it is—I’ve used it in all sorts of creative ways, especially to help students develop analytical thinking. One of my favourite approaches is using live polls to collect data from the class in real time. We then display the results and analyse them together, which opens up rich discussions about patterns, outliers, and interpretation. For example, I used Vevox to scaffold a class about sex education, and students were fascinated to see how their peers rated their comfort with the topic and the sex education they had received at school. The polls stimulated a rich discussion about the politics of sex education.
