"Streamlined Attendance and Engagement with Vevox"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

I like using Vevox to take attendance in my large enrollment courses. It is streamlined, and the grades flow directly into Canvas, my LMS. I also like using it for student engagement and Q&A. Being able to moderate questions in a large enrollment scenario is perfect, and I can directly follow up with students because their questions are linked to their email addresses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

I wish I could create folders to keep my surveys organized. I've learned to use meaningful names instead of "Week1" in order to more easily find what I'm looking for in future semesters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy-to-Use Polling with Great Features, Fast Results, and PowerPoint Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

Easy to use, great features, can download graph images and data export. Wide range of measurements / rating scales available. Great way of collecting votes during meetings, provides the results quickly. It integrates with PowerPoint, making it easy to run the polls and then show the results. It was also very easy to learn how to use it, thanks to the help pages with pictures and video instructions, and the clear, intuitive dashboard. The pricing is reasonable. The support team responds promptly. - Just a great product! I will recommend this to all my colleagues! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

Nothing! it's such a useful tool! The different pricing options offer different functionalities based on your need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Engagement and Support Powerhouse with Minor Integration Hiccups"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

I like that Vevox gives all students a voice and increases engagement, making it easy to carry out active learning strategies in classes of all sizes. I think it's very easy to get up and running without much of a learning curve. I really appreciate their customer support, and access to our account manager, including regular meetings, which has made university-wide implementation possible. We love Joe Probert, who has provided us with many levels of excellent support over the last year. It was great to have the support of our customer success manager, Joe, for the initial setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

The PowerPoint integration is a bit unstable and I wish the interface would be improved like the dashboard access. I would appreciate a more sophisticated interface, more stability of the plug-in (it tends to crash a lot) and there are missing features when compared to the dashboard version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kate Beadell of Vevox

Thank you for your review! We’re really pleased to hear how Vevox is supporting active learning and engagement across classes of all sizes, and that our support team and account management have helped with university wide adoption. We’ll be sure to pass your kind words on to Joe.

We also appreciate your feedback on the PowerPoint integration and interface, and this is an area we continue to work on improving and your insights are extremely valuable as we work to enhance this experience.

Thanks again for sharing your experience.

"Very User-Friendly Quiz Creation with Flexible Features and Great Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

Very user friendly platform, easy to use and easy to go through in it. Once i created the profile i immediately manage to create a quiz and to use a variety of features in order to customize it with no problem. So i would say i saved a lot of time and gave me flexibility because of its features in order to create a quiz game. And also very very very good support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

Nothing to dislike in vevox. As i said it is very user friendly. About the features maybe i would suggest if they can somehow integrate more music options ( maybe synced with spotify for example) That would be really helpful in order to have more music options. And also, another suggestion it would be to have an <<drag & drop >> option for the features that seem on the screen in order to be able to customize with more details. But overall nothing to dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kate Beadell of Vevox

"Interactive and Flexible, Perfect for Dynamic Learning"
5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

I like the flexibility in creating different types of questions with Vevox. It's great that I can easily embed questions into my PowerPoint slides, which helps during my sessions. I also appreciate the real-time aspects of Vevox, as it supports me in interacting dynamically with my students by allowing them to use their devices to focus on the session topics. The feature enables me to check in real time how long students take to answer questions, helping me measure their understanding. Plus, it gives me the ability to provide immediate feedback on wrong answers, which is very useful. The initial setup was very simple and straightforward because of the SSO feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

I think Vevox could improve on the PowerPoint plug-in embedding because sometimes when adding a slide with a question or with the joining instruction, it doesn't blend well onto the template. It could also improve on the Q&A feature, particularly the size limit, so that the length of the answers can be up to 2,000 or 3,000 characters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kate Beadell of Vevox

Thank you for your detailed feedback! We are glad to hear how much you value the flexibility, real time interaction, and ease of setup. It is great to know Vevox is helping to create a more dynamic and engaging learning experience.

We really appreciate your suggestions around PowerPoint slide design and Q&A character limits. There are some options available to help with slide styling and managing Q&A, but it sounds like you may be looking for even more flexibility. We would love to learn more about what would work best for you, so please feel free to reach out.

Thanks again for sharing your experience!

"Fantastic Tool with Stellar Support"
5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

I find Vevox fairly straightforward to use, which makes it accessible and convenient. The customer support team is excellent, always responsive and helpful, and they provide insights, support, and additional training. They are very close with the communities, making them a great vendor to work with. Additionally, the setup process was fairly straightforward, according to the technical team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

We have been having discussions about the potential for using Vevox as an attendance taking tool, which is not quite what it's designed for. So the workarounds are a bit awkward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kate Beadell of Vevox

We're delighted to hear that you find Vevox straightforward to use and that our support team has been able to provide helpful guidance, training, and assistance along the way. "Flexible, Easy-to-Run Interactive Polls—Now Even Better with PowerPoint Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

It allows me to insert important interactive elements in both my online and on-campus provision. My students find it relatively easy to join a Vevox session, and I find the planning of Vevox sessions very straightforward. I like the flexibility of poll options. I like the opportunity to personalise my polls. Now that there is an opportunity to integrate with PowerPoint, I'm very excited about my next steps with Vevox. Vevox performs extremely well in both online and on-campus environments. And having the opportunity to exchange views and feedback with representatives from Vevox in online meetings just really enhances the overall quality and benefits of using Vevox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

I would like to be able to personalise the content more. And I would like to have accessibility options more prominent. I would like to have an accessibility checker built in. But these aren't really dislikes. There isn't really much to dislike about Vvox. This is more of a wish list. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kate Beadell of Vevox

Thank you for such a detailed review. We’re delighted to hear Vevox is supporting engaging, inclusive learning across both online and on‑campus teaching, and that features like anonymous participation and PowerPoint integration are adding real value. We also really appreciate your feedback around personalisation and accessibility — this is valuable input and has been shared with our team.

"Empowering Student Interaction with Ease"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

I like Vevox for its ease of use and the fantastic support offered. They provide guides, videos, and even in-person support, which really helps. The initial setup of Vevox was very easy for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

I think there's room for improvement in how Vevox stores answer sets for multiple runs of the same poll. It would be helpful to have more clarity around where these are stored and how to access them; maybe some graphics on the webpage could help with this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kate Beadell of Vevox

Thanks so much for the great feedback! We're glad you're finding Vevox easy to use and that our support resources are accessible and helpful.

It's great to hear that Vevox is helping you engage students more effectively. Thanks again for the feedback!

"Enhance student engagement"
5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

I love how Vevox is very simple and so engaging to use - even technophobes can join in the fun! It brings a fun and engaging element to what could be a mundane presentation, our students are always excited to take part in interactive activities, especially quizzes using Vevox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

Not much to be honest - sometimes it's hard to express to potential users how effective it can be, without giving an actual demonstration. So it may be dismissed as something that is "too technical" or "too gimmicky" until it's actual demonstrated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kristina Ridgway of Vevox

Hi Arif,

We're thrilled to hear that you find Vevox simple and engaging to use, and that it has brought a fun element to your presentations and helps with student learning. "Transforms Engagement with Seamless Integration and Flexibility"
5/5
What do you like best about Vevox?

Vevox stands out for its ability to make sessions highly interactive and engaging. The platform is easy to use, integrates well with tools like PowerPoint and Blackboard, and supports a range of features. These capabilities help create an inclusive environment where everyone can contribute, whether in lectures or meetings. Additionally, its flexibility—supporting both synchronous and asynchronous activities—makes it ideal for modern teaching approaches like flipped learning and challenge-based curricula.

The Vevox Customer Support means that we rarely need to intervene with support calls as everything is resolved at source, both quickly and efficiently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vevox?

Legacy PowerPoint dependency: Some users still rely on older PPT integrations, which can feel outdated compared to the web-based experience.

SSO setup complexity: Enabling staff and participant SSO requires coordination with IT and can be time-consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kate Beadell of Vevox

Thank you for your detailed review Carl and for highlighting Vevox's ability to make sessions highly interactive and engaging, as well as its seamless integration with tools like PowerPoint and Blackboard. It is always great to hear how using Vevox improves engagement and participation in classes with students.
