**What do you like best about Vevox?**

Vevox is an advanced question and answer system where you can quickly access your employees' comments and opinions through its advanced and secure work systems.

In addition, Vevox allows you to conduct professional surveys to learn the different points of view of your business members and make business decisions based on the recommendations of all your employees.

**What do you dislike about Vevox?**

I have nothing bad to say about Vevox's features and work resources, I think it is a professional system with great operational performance.

**What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vevox is a system that has allowed me to access my employees' comments and suggestions to create a much more personalized and productive professional experience, improving communication and professional collaboration with my entire team.

**What do you like best about Vevox?**

I find Vevox to be a comprehensive and impactful tool, especially valuable for my lectures on spirituality. The platform's ability to make teaching more interesting and engaging stands out, as it allows students to actively participate and interact with the content. I particularly appreciate the rating aspect and the word cloud feature, which facilitate engagement by enabling students to compare scores and express their definitions of spirituality. These features keep students active and enhance their learning experience. Setting up Vevox was seamless thanks to the excellent free online sessions offered by knowledgeable colleagues like Kyle Freeman. Additionally, the integration with PowerPoint as an add-on is quite impressive, adding to its usability. It's also worth noting that as part of our university's toolkit, Vevox is free for our use, which adds great value. Overall, its ease of use and comprehensive nature make it a tool I am very happy to use, and I would recommend it to others without hesitation.

**What do you like best about Vevox?**

We used Vevox for an event at the Royal Geographical Society in London, with both in-person and online audiences, and it worked flawlessly. The interactive Q&A was exactly what we needed — attendees could simply scan a QR code to join, and the moderation tools made it easy to manage which questions appeared on screen. We really liked that moderation could be delegated to others, and that we could spotlight and control content from a secondary device, meaning I didn’t have to be up in the AV suite during the event. The ability to customise what was shown on participant devices and on the main screen gave us a fully branded experience that looked fantastic. Everything ran smoothly and reliably — we’d highly recommend Vevox for any hybrid or live event needing seamless audience engagement.

**What do you like best about Vevox?**

Vevox is pretty user-friendly and also aesthetically pleasing when using the web/online version. Depending on my teaching schedule I would say I use Vevox a couple times a week; definitely each time I have a lecture! I like using it not just for real-time learning checkpoints in the classroom (very handy to see where my students are at), but also, it can be good for asking e.g. students' input/thoughts via word clouds and also for responses to survey questions (even course feedback). Thanks to Fraser Hill for recently reaching out for a 1-on-1 as well, as it can be really helpful to talk through things and also hear about the latest updates (rather than always feel like you have to try to find time to read up on them via a weblink). I'm looking forward to using the new-ish 'before/after comparisons' option!

**What do you dislike about Vevox?**

They do regular updates and they also do try to check in with 1-on-1 chats, so if there is anything I don't like I can always mention it, rather than 'live with it'. One thing I personal don't like is the aesthetics of a Vevox poll (MCQ style) when using their plug-in, in PowerPoint. It still looks better than what we as an institution had before (competitor's software!), but I do understand there are some restrictions to what Vevox can and can't do in this respect. Just to note, they are working on it, is my understanding. In any case, I choose to share (on the second screen) the web version of my Vevox session for the students and it works pretty well. If anyone is interested, student feedback is pretty positive for use of Vevox in the classroom: students usually say it's 'fun', 'engaging', 'helps assess understanding', 'helps identify knowledge gaps', and so on.

**What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

First and foremost, it helps with the drop in attention as the clocks ticks on during a given lecture. No matter how engaging we try to be as educators, a 9am start time can be tricky to navigate. In-class 'fun' tools, such as Vevox, really helps me to create a time-out and sort of hit the refresh button. Interestingly, I have noticed (from a quick headcount) that not all students present in the room may log into Vevox (and this is something I am interested in exploring further), but engagement is nonetheless high with this tool and the variety of Qs we as educators can ask via Vevox can be really helpful. One of the things I like to do, as an example, is check student's knowledge and sense of Déjà vu. Yep; I like to usually for revision polls, re-use previous Vevox Qs, from earlier on in term, and then drop hints that they've seen this before... This can help remind them of content we've already gone through, and I hope, the power of (or simply a good reason for) attending lectures in person.

**What do you like best about Vevox?**

The overall ease of use of the platform, along with the ease of accessibility to user accounts make the general aspects of integrating Vevox within teaching and other activities straightforward, and much better than competitor products to which I've had access. Further to this, the range of question types which are available within the platform ensure that the use of Vevox within sessions provides real value, and from a teaching perspective, allows the tool to fully support learning, and offer formative assessment in a manner which is of real value.

**What do you dislike about Vevox?**

There is very little that I currently dislike about the platform, however, the integration for PowerPoint could be easier to use in some aspects, and most particularly in relation to the matching of slide formatting, however, I'm conscious that this may well be outside of the provider's control!

**What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vevox allows me to easily provide students with the ability to answer questions related to teaching content in class, acting as both a driver for the delivery of class sessions, and also to measure students' understanding of content such that I can structure my ongoing teaching support accordingly. Further to this, it provides a straightforward and effective way to gather feedback and other important information from audiences without negatively impacting the flow of delivery, or adding complex technical challenges.

I use Vevox for interactive tutorial sessions and it encouraged student attendance, got students engaged, and allowed me to see how the cohort was progressing. It's easy to use, and I can store the results to look back at them later. I also enjoy the ability for students to answer questions anonymously. The initial setup was fairly easy, thanks to the step-by-step guides that help you.

The link to PowerPoint could be better - could have the option to create PowerPoint slides without having to do them online first.

Vevox encourages student attendance, engages students, and lets me track cohort progress. It's easy to use, allows storing results for later review, and supports anonymous student responses.

Ease of usage; array of features; flexibility; readily available and responsive customer support (including phone calls!); great online resources for explanation-with the help of Grok 3, gaining an understanding was even faster.

No dislikes as of yet; the price is reasonable. I have subscribed at the "Starter" level.

**What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My hope is that the use of Vevox will enhance student engagement. I hear 'through the grapevine' that these tools are still a novelty for students. For me as a teacher, it will help me implement preference surveys, and share results with students, in a way that will be undoubtedly much easier and effective than having to do this 'in the old way,' that is, without the support of such an app, along with the availability, today, of AI assistance.

I can host Q&A sessions at live events with many participants at once. It is easily accessible for the audience. I have only used the Q&A option so far, so that is the feature I am familiar with.

I would like to see the QR code be able to connect back to our online LMS so that students can just scan the QR code and have their participation/marks recorded rather than only being anonymous that way.

This is crucial in aiding students to be able to earn easy marks, demonstrate learning, and evidence of their attendance in large lectures. This is critical in creating accommodating courses that can fit a wide range of learning styles.

**What do you like best about Vevox?**

I love that Vevox is so simple to use for class participants, my students can engage with it and participate in my class with their phones or laptops. This makes it very accessible, and allows me as an educator to incorporate it into my class seamlessly. I use Vevox to ask students to answer example questions during lectures, this keeps them engaged and allows them to test their understanding. The anonymous feature allows students to engage without being anxious about being embarrassed if they select the wrong answer. It also really benefits me because I can quickly see how students are following along with the content I teach, and adjust my class accordingly in real time.

**What do you dislike about Vevox?**

As a contract professor, I do not have the job security or financial stability to purchase additional subscriptions. I wish the free feature had a few more options, being able to add images to my multiple choice questions would be great!

**What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vevox helps me implement classroom engagement in a risk free, anonymous way for my students. Instead of just asking a classroom of 50 students to think about the answer and hoping someone raises their hand, Vevox provides a live way for my students to test their knowledge. I find this so helpful and makes lectures more fun and impactful, and so do my students!

It is simple to use, as it is very intuitive to create questions for an audience. We have used it for over 2 years, and have received good feedback from participants.

The fact that we need to do the creating and launching on the vevox website and launch vevox in powerpoint. In my work team, we are doing our best to minimise processes, and this creates 2 things to do.

Vevox is a user-friendly platform.  Its easy to create polls and surveys with options to import graphics, music and timers. Our trainers have embrassed the ease of implementing Vevox during their trainings. 

Customer Support is more than helpful.  They understood our vision to implement Vevox.  They listened to us and worked through our needs.

**What do you dislike about Vevox?**

We did not have any dislikes with Vevox.  They've been able to provide us with what we need.

We were having difficulty with a competitor faciliting multiple quizzes at the same time and Vevox was able to provide us with options to be able to handle multiple trainers in the field at the same time.

It's an intuitive system which allows for anyone to set up sessions. I can sort a variety of methods to capture data and create a report straight after the session ends!

The front end for participants is also easy to use so when we run sessions, there is no confusion as to how to use the platform.

Customer support for any of our needs is also fantastic. They're helpful and very prompt in response.

What I like best about Vevox is how it empowers every student to have a voice. I like that Vevox allows student to engage and interact with peers through Polls when used for quizzes in class sessions. This gives an opportunity to see aspects that may be confusing to students and how they can address their learning. Explanations can be shown on screen and later shared for them to refer to later on. Students like the multiple choice questions; even with multiple answers; ranking, pin on image and surveys also can be used as offline quizzes for students to do on their own time.

A minor downside would be when having multiple questions (poll questions) in a session; there is a need to open the session and clear responses before they can be re-opened again which can disrupt the flow when these have not been set-up earlier on.

We work with lots of different clients that have varied requirements. Most of the time Vevox can be used no matter who the client is because of the broad range of functionality.

According to Vevox's support documentation, this is a known behaviour and does not impact the overall performance of the presentation.

Easy to use, but when I do have questions, Charlie Thomas, Joe Flanagan and Kyle Freeman are super great at responding to my emails in a heartbeat, especially given that we are half a world away from each other. I love how there are different options to make it interactive, as well as the option to make it a live presentation or a “survey” that can be done when the participant is available.

My issues are always user error. So basically there is nothing I don’t love about Vevox!

**What do you like best about Vevox?**

It's very easy to use. Even when switching to more advanced features, they're still straightforward. Documentation is clear whenever you need additional information. Support is amazing. 
The main functionalities used were:
Poll questions via PowerPoint add-in integrated with our presentations. Live reporting on the number of people who managed to join. Live reporting on the audience who had time to answer the poll
We also used the paid function of quizzes and leaderboard. Nice touch on allowing to use background music for the quiz answer time.

**What do you dislike about Vevox?**

We have not used SSO since we didn't purchase the Institution subscription, because we're self-funded for now.  The only issue we found is that we couldn't purchase a month subscription, rather the site listed only yearly subscription. We still managed to handle that by contacting sales and the support there was beautiful.

**What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Integrating more interactive feedback during presentations. Enabling student engagement during courses.

**What do you like best about Vevox?**

I really like how there are different features which can all be used for different purposes to encourage active student participation and to increase engagement. It's easy to use and can be used for both online and in person delivery. Often I teach students who have different levels of expertise and so one feature I find particularly beneficial is the VEVOX Wordclouds to determine the level of knowledge and understanding students have on a particular topic. I frequently use these at the start of sessions so that I can adapt my session accordingly. Another thing I like about VEVOX is that the anonymity encourages students to contribute to sessions. VEVOX customer support has been really helpful in signposting me and guiding me on how to use different features.

**What do you dislike about Vevox?**

I have not had any negative experiences so far- I am still exploring the features. However one thing I have struggled with is embedding VEVOX into my PowerPoint Presentations  as it does not always work (but this is a technical glitch which other colleagues within my University have experienced).

**What do you like best about Vevox?**

I am a University professor teaching a range of class sizes (up to almost 300 students).  I have tried several different audience participation apps since my University starting phasing out clickers and Vevox has been by far the best.  It is not silly and gimmicky like some (which are more suitable for younger students).  It has more flexibility in answer length and number of answers possible for multiple choice questions.  It has a range of different question types.  The customer service is OUTSTANDING.  I have had personalised sessions where I discussed ways I thought the software could be improved and they listened and in the meantime I was given workarounds to try.

**What do you dislike about Vevox?**

The interface is simple and easy, but that is a disadvantage as well as an advantage -- some features/settings (accessing former questions, for example, and timing of question presentation) are very difficult to find.  The Q&A page is separate from the quizzing pages, and I don't get notified if a student has put something on the Q&A page when I am running quizzes.  All in all, these are fairly minor.

**What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping students active in class.  Letting them see how they are performing in comparison with fellow students.  Giving me information on where they are failing to understand.  Giving me information on their attitudes and opinions.

  ### 45. Easy to use and rewarding for my students

**What do you like best about Vevox?**

Easy to use, with several more features than its competitors. I like the features of multiple choice questions, pin in the image, and word clouds, as they allow my students to feel less intimidated by giving answers during my lectures. I will try to also use the Q&A feature, as this is not typically found in these types of software. I use it about twice a week, for my lectures and my seminars, which are addressed to about 60 students each time. Customer support is always ready to answer my questions, so this is also a very important aspect of using Vevox.

**What do you dislike about Vevox?**

I can't think of anything that I really dislike about this software, as it is overall fun and intuitive.

**What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

English and Chinese undergraduate students (about 90% of all my students) tend to be shy to ask questions and give their answers, so using a software that helps them doing these is key for my lectures and seminars.

As I teach large groups, what I like best about Vevox is how well it works with large cohorts. It makes it easy to engage everyone at once and gather formative feedback that really helps me understand where students are at. The instant responses and anonymity also encourage more participation, which creates a more interactive and supportive learning environment.

It can sometimes feel a little limited in terms of customisation.

Vevox solves the problem of engaging large groups and making sure every voice is heard. It provides a simple way to collect formative feedback in real time, which helps me understand learners’ needs better and adapt my approach. **What do you like best about Vevox?**

It is very engaging for the students and easy to use. it gives you a lot of options from Quiz, poll, survey, Q&A. It is now part of my daily routine as a lecturer. Can be embedded in your PowerPoints and in blackboard. I really appreciate to being asked for feedback regularly on my use of the tool. We are provided with training and webinars by the vevox team quite often. they are always responsive.

**What do you dislike about Vevox?**

Nothing really. vevox have added some new feature such as the demographi question that will be very useful for teamwork activities.

**What problems is Vevox solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It really changed my dynamic with my students. They are more engaged and ask for the vevox activities. vevox is now embedded in my routine from my weekly moodmeter to my short quizes to test their understanding on the online content to the mock assessment. It is a great ice breaker and helped me to open conversations sometimes sensitive topic such the use of GenAI in assessment. I would use word cloud to ask them about their opinon and then start a dicussion.

**What do you like best about Vevox?**

Vevox proved to be a valuable tool for enhancing audience engagement and real-time interaction during our recent EAPC World Congress, which took place at the Messukeskus Helsinki, Expo and Convention Centre. 
With live polls, surveys and word clouds, Vevox provided a dynamic platform that encouraged participation both before and during congress. Its intuitive interface helped create a more interactive atmosphere, and real-time feedback from plenaries allowed us to gain insights into participant priorities and sentiments.
From the sales to the support team, the staff at Vevox have been super friendly, helpful and responsive. I would highly them.

**What do you dislike about Vevox?**

The Expo Centre IT systems did not allow for the use of the PowerPoint integration. This was easily fixed though with the sharing of the Vevox platform weblink

Provided a simple platform for audience engagement and impact assessment.
