Centralised contract mgt platform / repository
Centralised workflow management - SaaS contract renewals

 ### 2. Description of the procurement and negotiation service from Vertice to Enagás

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 09, 2025

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

The most useful thing for me is direct negotiation with manufacturers and distributors, thanks to their good knowledge of the supplier market and the products they sell. The main advantage is the benchmarking they have, as thanks to the different clients they have, they can carry out a very precise comparison of the prices and purchasing conditions that suppliers offer us.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

There is nothing in particular that I dislike, the only additional task is uploading documentation to their platform and keeping an eye on notifications through it. However, it is a user-friendly and simple platform to use.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The question is not understood.

 ### 3. review for Vertice, Multiplica

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alejandro L. | IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

Vertice has been a key partner in helping us optimize our software procurement and renewals. The platform provides excellent visibility into our SaaS spending, making it easier to negotiate better terms and achieve significant cost savings. I particularly appreciate the ease of use and the smooth implementation process, as well as the dedicated customer support team that is always responsive and proactive. Overall, it has simplified vendor management and delivered measurable financial benefits.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

Although Vertice is a very helpful platform, sometimes the reporting features could be more customizable to align with specific internal formats and metrics. Additionally, the number of integrations is good, but expanding coverage to more niche tools would make it even more powerful. These are relatively minor points compared to the overall value it provides.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vertice is helping us address the challenge of managing and optimizing SaaS expenses across multiple vendors. Before using Vertice, renewals and negotiations were time-consuming and lacked transparency, which often resulted in higher costs. Now, the platform centralizes all our contracts, provides visibility into upcoming renewals, and leverages benchmark data to secure better pricing. This has directly translated into significant cost savings, reduced administrative workload, and stronger vendor relationships, allowing us to focus on strategic IT initiatives rather than manual procurement tasks.

 ### 4. Transformative Procurement Solution with Exceptional Service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Liz T. | CFO, Logistics and Supply Chain, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

Working with Vertice over the past quarter has been a game-changer for our organization. As a SaaS vendor procurement platform, they have not only facilitated substantial cost savings—helping us save $11,000 in contract negotiations—but they have also profoundly impacted our procurement strategies.

The platform itself is a standout, providing a well-organized and insightful overview of our vendor contracts, which has been instrumental in refining our procurement process. It’s clear, user-friendly, and equipped with all the tools necessary to offer deep insights into our procurement activities.

Moreover, the team at Vertice, especially the Customer Success Manager (Brooke) and the Procurement Manager (Dan), have been pivotal in our success. Their expertise in contract negotiations and their dedication to educating our team on best practices have been invaluable. The relationship built over this short period is not merely a service provider-client dynamic; it feels much more collaborative and advisory.

For any organization looking to streamline their procurement processes and achieve significant cost savings, I highly recommend Vertice. Their service goes beyond just a software solution; it’s a partnership that brings about real, tangible changes in how you manage procurement. Their professionalism, expertise, and genuine care for their clients' success are what set them apart.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

While our experience with Vertice has been overwhelmingly positive, an area they could enhance is expanding their integration capabilities with other management tools we use. Broadening their compatibility would streamline our processes even further, making their platform not just good, but perfect for our specific needs.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Cost Savings in Contract Negotiations: Vertice has helped our organization save $11,000 in contract negotiations so far. This direct financial benefit enhances budget efficiency and allows for reallocating funds to other critical areas of our business.

Streamlining Procurement Processes: Before Vertice, our procurement process may not have been as defined or efficient. With their platform, they have helped structure and refine how we approach vendor contracts, making the process clearer and more systematic.

Education on Contract Negotiations: Vertice has played an educational role by informing our team on the best practices for contract negotiations. This empowerment not only improves immediate outcomes but also builds our team’s long-term capabilities in handling negotiations more effectively.

Insightful and Organized Platform: The Vertice platform provides a well-organized dashboard that gives insightful overviews of vendor contracts. This clarity and organization help in making informed decisions quickly, enhancing operational efficiency.

Trusted Advisory Relationship: The development of a trusted relationship with Vertice, especially by the roles of the Customer Success Manager and Procurement Manager, means we have reliable support and expert advice readily available. This reassurance significantly enhances decision-making confidence and reduces the risk in procurement activities.

Overall, Vertice is solving the problem of inefficient and uninformed procurement practices while providing a robust framework for managing vendor relationships and contracts effectively. This not only saves money but also improves operational workflows and builds internal competencies in procurement management.

 ### 5. Reliable way of reducing your SaaS spend

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Siavash B. | Director of Operational Excellence, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

The fact that they have so much industry knowledge and can based on data tell you what prices you should be able to get. The team is professional and the platform easy to use.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

That it does not fully cover all the functions of something like House of Control, would have loved to move all the compliance related tasks in here also.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They shorten the renewal and purchase cycle and get the prices down, the savings are substantial.

 ### 6. Vertice is amazing for Optimizing SaaS Spend, but has Room for Improvement on Integrations

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Maxi P. | Procurement Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 15, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

We partnered with Vertice to manage our tail-end spend. This helped us and our stakeholders to save valuble resources to focus on other priorities. Vertice not only helped us to cut costs, they are also very proactive and regularly come up with insights and recommendations to optimize our SaaS stack.

We as the Procurement team especially value Vertice’s vast benchmark data which has so far been extremely accurate and helpful for our self-managed contracts.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

Even though Vertice has been really good in reducing our SaaS spend, some important system integrations aren't available yet. However, they have always been transparent about their roll-out plans and are actively working on new capabilities.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We utilize Vertice to manage our tail-end spend. This helps our Procurement Team and other stakeholders to focus on high-value contracts and other priorities. For self-managed contracts Vertice also provides support by delivering very accurate benchmark data. Additionally it's worth to mention Vertice intuitive and user-friendly platform which provides a great overview of our SaaS stack and sends out scheduled notifications for upcoming Renewal deadlines. This helped us getting rid of Excel sheets.

 ### 7. Vertice help us manage our SaaS spend, now more complex having adopted a 'cloud first' strategy

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joe K. | VP IT & Data Security, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 13, 2025

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

Once contracts are uploaded, the 'Pipeline' that is generated following the OCR process gives clear visibility into the your SaaS scheduled renewal priorities. Also how contracts are managed within the tool with the assignment of 'Owners' and 'Watchers' makes for simple task delegation throughout our organization.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

Too early to tell at the moment. I am still 'finding my feet' with this new capability and understanding the features.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have switched from managing infrastructure to managing SaaS vendors, for which there are many. Vertice is helping us maintain timely renewals and better forecast SaaS spend.

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

Negotiation of contract value with our social media platform.

 ### 12. Easy to use platform + easy savings

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Paul P. | CTO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

Vertice has been great for our business. The platform has provided us with the ability to have visibility over all of our spend in one consolidated place. Contract reviews are no longer a surprise, since the platform is able to notify us of upcoming reviews to ensure that we allow enough time to negotiate the best price.

Our procurement manager from Vertice is able to achieve saving results with minimal input from the team. The user interface and workflow management tools inside the platform make it easy to submit the information the procurement team need to negotiate on your behalf. **What do you dislike about Vertice?**

Nothing comes to mind currently ........

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vertice helps us to reduce our SaaS spend. They also manage a few other vendor contracts which are not strictly SaaS
The Vertice platform helps us get visibility over our spend, our upcoming renewals and helps us to ensure that we are constantly reviewing these to optmise cost.
Our procurement manager acts on our behalf to ensure that we are getting the best deal

 ### 13. Great onboarding process and intuitive platform

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 27, 2025

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

The very friendly and helpful team at Vertice have given us a very smooth onboarding process

Platform is intuitive and the functionality looks like a big improvement over our organisations existing ways of managing renewals of our SaaS contracts.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

The platform can be a bit slow to load sometimes, and it's not clear yet how well it will be able to handle contracts that have variable usage charges.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

- cost savings
- tracking contract renewals, so that we don't miss them, can proactively consider if we want to continue with an existing service or have sufficient time to cut over to another.
- providing a consistent and traceable record of the procurement/renewal workflow, such as approvals, so that they don't get lost in emails.

Thea team provides amazing service - they remind of renewals and then negotiate on your behalf - you don't need to worry about it. Their dashboard is very easy to use. Integration is very easy .

There is a lot of functionality on the platform but might be too much.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vertice is providing a great platform to keep track of our contracts, spending and finding out our budget blindspots.

 ### 18. Vertice has brought awareness, process and improved terms to our SaaS contracts.

 ### 19. Financial user quite satisfied with vertice's service

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Pedro H. | Finance Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 10, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

I like the following thins;
i. fast and direct communication with the support team and the account manager
ii. digital medium with a fairly user-friendly website and functionalities
iii. resolution and assistance in many cases in negotiating or arranging contracts
iv. help or guidance in the case of not being able to or not having access to contractual advantages
v. direct and clear messages from the team - very effective!

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

i. limit with contract negotiations (€5k) for small ticket services some kind of service would be ideal as well
ii. not having means of payment (cards) to link the owners of the accounts and the payment of tech suppliers
iii. have a budget function to help the finance or cost control area to carry out measurements and controls

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Group all or most of the tech and simulated supplier contracts we have in the company, assigned by a manager. This gives us control of our supplier portfolio, contract status and costs.
It also helps us to search for and compare the best solutions on the market and potential improvements in services and costs.

 ### 20. Vendor Management Experts with Robust Software

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam S. | Senior IT Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

Vertice covers two very important needs for our organization: the software to track our vendor and supplier engagements, and the expert Vendor Managers and Buyers to help support those engagements. At a glance, we are able to review and strategize around our upcoming SaaS renewals with ease. When it's time to begin negotiations and planning, Vertice is at the ready to either hop on the required phone calls for us, or consult us behind the scenes every step of the way. They provide valuable insights into each SaaS product we purchase, sometimes even line-by-line, and give us confidence that we are being as efficient as possible with our third party agreements. They have experience with huge swath of vendors and know the tricks of the trade that can only come with many years of buying experience. They help ensure we get the best deals possible and their teams are a pleasure to work with.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

The software has a lot of robust features that go relatively unused by our organization, a decent level of time commitment is required to fully utilize the software and keep everything up to date. Vertice naturally can't help with every single negotiation, so it can be a somewhat manual process to determine the boundaries of their perview, sometimes on a vendor-by-vendor basis.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vertice helps us with vendor management, contract lifecycle management, procurement, pricing / benchmarking, and provides the software for us to keep our renewals organized. This includes storage of contracts, agreements and terms, and other items that need organization and tracking on a continuous basis.

 ### 21. Save time and money

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** David C. | Senior IT Procurement Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

You can delegate your procurement workload on them and focus on planification and strategy, specially if you are shortstaffed. The integration is easy enough provided you have everything they need available and located.
Their (your) support team (extended procurement team) is top notch and the CSM is always available and helpful.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

Some integartions with IdP or AD need a bit of work.
I find missing some reporting or exporting tools.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since each SaaS provider has their own SLAs, discount periods, etc is way too complex if you are managing a high amount of softwares to be able to get the best deals when you have to renew or negotiate. Vertice gives you an expert team in almost everything, so you can be always ahead of the vendors in this cases. They can take the heavy footwork from you and you only have to give inputs on what are your requirements. Also, they can work they way you want, beign fully an extended procurement team (as we do) or just giving you theyir expertise and benchmarks.

 ### 22. Negotiations with Vertice

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Christopher M. | Senior Manager of Accounting, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 03, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

The team is fantastic to work with. Easy to work with, great communicators, and efficient and getting the best possible outcome when it comes to contract negotiations. Ther Vertice platform is also helpful in understand the timing of renewals and staying well ahead of when renewels are to occur.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

Areas Vertice can improve would be to make the process from finalization of negotiated contract to final upload to their system more efficient. Maybe Vertice can be the middle man for the Vendor being negotiated and the customer (Twin), and they hold a Docusign account or something that then provides copies to both parties once signed and then automatically stores it into the Vertice platform. We deal with lots of version control challenges and cleaning up that process will reduce that admin time.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vertice is requiring our team to look at contract and budgeting to come up with better outcomes for negotiations. Vertice is also requiring our team to understand how renewals and contract underlying details can impact the timing of contracts. One of the latested benefits we are seeing is the cost savings overtime as we renewal SaaS contracts.

 ### 23. Excellent engagement from the team - feels like a good partnership

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Professional Training & Coaching | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 04, 2025

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

The people interactions and level of professionalism has been very impressive so far - I also really like the platform that we now have access to

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

nothing to date to worry about - All good so far

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping to provide us with an improved procurement process and to reduce our tech spend

 ### 24. No contracts left behind

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Heather S. | Assistant Controller, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

I really enjoy having the company's contracts hosted on one platform. This ensure that contract owners are aware of any upcoming renewals and finance has insight into company spend in different format than reports from the accounting software. It's phenomenal to have a dedicated manager to follow-up to ensure renewals are processed timely and negotiated to the benefit of the company. The platform is user-friendly and fairly intuitive.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

Our contract involves a threshold for Vertice intervention. In order to have a complete overview of our SaaS spend, contracts under the threshold are uploaded to the platform. Email reminders are sent multiple times to the contract owners regardless of the threshold. While this is helpful, our team is still learning what Vertice will negotiate. I wish the emails sent to contract owners would specify whether the contract can be "renew with Vertice" or just a friendly reminder of the contract upcoming renewal.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contracts were not located in a central database before Vertice. Our SaaS spend in particular was higher than necessary because other departments didn't know what tools were purchased. Having a central repository allows the company visibility into the tools they've purchased and not get caught in less-than-ideal contract because of an auto-renewal clause or because the contract owner has left the company.

**Official Response from Kate Wilson:**

> Thank you for your positive feedback! We're glad that Vertice has helped centralize your contracts and provide better visibility into your SaaS spending.

 ### 25. Above-and-beyond service

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Michael F. | Business Process and Systems Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

Vertice's primary service is to reduce our SaaS vendor costs and the time/effort required to negotiate new deals and renewals. Their platform offers an easy way to monitor and get alerted of upcoming renewals, as well as store all vendor-related information (including contracts) in one place. This data can be shared with business owners, allowing them to be involved as much (or as little) as they wish in renewals.

But in the first month of working with Vertice, they've done so much more! They've helped me formalize our procurement process, have provided a comprehensive 3PVA form, and offered advice on technology investment decisions. They've been very open to negotiating with several new vendors simultaneously. They are in constant communication with me, and are proactive with reminders if I've forgotten to update something on the platform or didn't trigger a renewal investigation.

Ramping up on the new platform was very quick. They took care of uploading the data I had provided, and I then added a few additional details to the vendor profiles. We have enabled SSO, but haven't enabled usage tracking yet (we'll get to that soon).

Their Trust Center is comprehensive and met all of the requirements from our internal InfoSec team.

I'm very impressed by their entire team: Sales, Customer Success, Support, and of course our dedicated Contract Negotiator.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

A few of their form letters and documents could have been formated and worded a bit more professionally. Not a big issue, but considering these are being reused across all of their customers, they should put a bit more effort into making them as close to perfect as possible before passing them on to their customers.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were using a large Excel spreadsheet to manage all of our 3rd party SaaS vendors. This contained a lot of data, but didn't allow for automated notifications of upcoming renewals, centralized storage of signed contracts, negotiation history, etc. All of that information is now in the Vertice Platform, and autonated notificates are sent out well in advance of upcoming renewals (including auto-renewals).

As well, negotiating initial contracts with new vendors or annual renewals is very time consuming, and Vertice reduces this to a minimum, while still keeping us informed of progress and options.

**Official Response from Kate Wilson:**

> Thrilled to hear Vertice is exceeding your expectations Michael!

 ### 26. Expert support with a helpful platform

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Aïssatou S. | Procurement Lead, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

The procurement managers' expertise is what truly stands out. Their support and insights have been crucial in managing a wide range of procurement topics efficiently, making a significant impact on our processes.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

While the platform itself is helpful and easy to use, there are times when its features could be more tailor-made to better fit specific needs. Also it lacks integration with other systems like P2P or CLM which had an impact on the implementation (manual inputs) and the ongoing uploading of contracts.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vertice is solving the challenge of managing diverse procurement topics efficiently without the need to expand our team. Their expert procurement managers provide invaluable insights and support, helping streamline our processes and enhance decision-making. This has allowed us to cover more ground effectively and improve our procurement strategy, ultimately saving time and resources while ensuring we make well-informed purchasing decisions.

 ### 27. Big Claims - Big Results

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 03, 2025

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

Friendly and efficient service, Keshav especially goes above and beyond to provide us with feedback on how we can reduce our costs and tips for when we negotiate internally. Vertice were the only company to agree on hitting our cost reduction target and actually met the target before the end date suggested!

Was easy to start integration and ease of use of their platform has caused us to freqently use their service.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

There are no downsides of Vertice - they're transparent about the service and results they'll provide and thus cannot recommend them anymore!

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

They have provided us with a central location to track contracts and provide insights on our costs and how we are reducing them.

 ### 28. Vertice is an interesting solution, especially with its single repository for subscriptions.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tom L. | System Administrator, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 23, 2025

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

It helps improve vendor management while also reducing the cost of the renewal process.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

None so far. It is just new in the system.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Renewal/Acquisition process and reminders for upcoming subscription expirations.

 ### 29. Exceptional Service and Unmatched Expertise

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Iván L. | IT Project Manager, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

From the onset of our collaboration, Vertice has consistently delivered outstanding service that not only meets but exceeds expectations. Their team of professionals, led by the diligent efforts of Gabriela Cangas and Keshav Pillai, has demonstrated a remarkable ability to navigate complex negotiations and secure favorable terms that benefit our organization.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

Some of our solutions are transversal to our aourganization so in terms of monitoring the cost and budget per deparment it would be usefull if we can split a contract cost into different areas so we can see on the dashboard the complete cost generated by a single department accross all our contracts.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Contract renewal time and cost reduction. This summarizes the most important value provided by Vertice. Now we are getting better savings in our contracts and my team spends less time manging all the renewals with all our multiple SaaS vendors.

**Official Response from Kate Wilson:**

> Thank you for your feedback! We appreciate it.

 ### 30. No nonsense approach to SaaS cost savings

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Klaus T. | Chief Technology Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

I've historically been sceptical of procurement platforms, having had mixed results. Vertice is the exception. The onboarding process was easy and completed in a week. We now have a dedicated customer success and purchasing manager guiding us with all our contract negotiations. Within three months, the platform paid for its first year, allowing me to sleep better at night knowing that we have a process in place to provide the best pricing.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

The current version of the product doesn't yet support customised workflows, but this feature is being rolled out this year. The usage stats also aren't always accurate as they rely on SSO logins, which don't always reflect the actual software usage.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The platform and service provide an ongoing process for contract renewals, benchmarking against pricing and calibration against competitor SaaS vendors.

**Official Response from Kate Wilson:**

> Thank you for your excellent review Klaus! We're thrilled to hear that Vertice has exceeded your expectations and provided significant cost savings. We're committed to continuous improvement and appreciate your feedback.

 ### 31. Implementing Vertice at me&u

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Valerie T. | Project Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 19, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

We used Vertice for the procurement of our SaaS spend. The team are quick, knowledgeable and friendly. Their product is easy to use and the team were able to help us with benchmarking, negotiations and custom workflows.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

The platform can be a little slow to load at times but that is very minor.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Oversight of our contracts, procurement spend, when contracts are up for renewal, benchmarking, supplier relationships, negotiation and usage data.

 ### 32. Very useful with a great ROI.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alex Dario E. | FinOps Lead, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

It's very useful to have all your tools in one place, with great visualization and ease of understanding.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

othing really. Very useful and professional attention.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a normal startup in the beginning, we had a lack of cost control and oversight of the SaaS tools every department was using. First, it helped us to have everything in one place and provided clear information about the costs. It was also very helpful with renewal negotiations.

 ### 33. Vertice does what it says

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jason S. | Financial Accountant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

The onboarding process was fairly straightforward and allowed us to transition our SaaS data from google sheets and folders into the platform for a clear and easy overview of all our SaaS.
As a company of around 100 employees, we did not have the in-house capability to benchmark and negotiate our own contracts for maximum benefit. Within 6 months Vertice have been able to deliver savings in excess of the cost of their service, while also offering us insight into new purchases and alternatives that we consider.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

Not much that we have yet encountered, perhaps for an organsation our size the platform and people do what they say they will and thats all we really need.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Benchmarking our SaaS spend against similar customers and allowing us to maximise what we get for each SaaS

**Official Response from Kate Wilson:**

> Hi Jason, thanks for your positive review. We're delighted Vertice is helping you gain visibility over your tech stack and saving you money!

The team is energetic, passionate about the product, aligned with the founders’ vision, and makes your job easier by allowing you to focus on other priorities.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

It’s a shame a platform like this wasn’t available years ago—no complaints!

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

All our SaaS systems are documented in one place, with clear cost visibility and an intuitive navigation that makes it effortless to use from the start.

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

Great follow-up
Competent team
We have an incredible procurement manager. @Zeynep

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

It took us time to make the tool recognized internally.
More workshops and assistance on internal message would have been appreciated

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vertice:
- helps gain time in negociation of contracts
- provides input and benchmarks on new tools
- helps gather all SaaS contracts in one location (with renewal reminders)

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

We have yet to find anything we truly dislike.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Achieving better pricing on new purchases and renewals and easing the burdens off our procurement and contract owner teams.

 ### 37. Solid Core Idea In Need of Maturation and Expansion

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Steven K. | Head of IT, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 20, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

Vertice offers SaaS procurement and management in a way that most traditional technology suppliers cannot.

They aren't a reseller. They don't rely on partner networks. They will communicate directly with SaaS providers on your behalf, enabling you to funnel contract negotiations through Vertice rather than a litany of different account managers.

They are flexible in approach. They can actively participate in contract negotiations from beginning to end or be a fly on the wall and participate only at the commercial stage.

If you are an overstretched IT team responsible for a large SaaS stack with a never-ending renewal cycle, Vertice will absolutely help you offload the constant email exchange.

By pulling aggregate data from their customer base and market research, they can provide you with data on SaaS vendors up front without suffering through multiple sales pipelines - for example, ballpark pricing.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

The core value proposition—an account manager who will speak to vendors for you—is relatively unique within the broader SaaS management space.

However, the overall service offering has clearly been built outwards from this central idea, and as such, many elements are currently immature or missing entirely.

Integration options are poor. There is a basic Slack integration that doesn't do much more than alert you to renewal dates; it doesn't add value in its current form. ERP integrations (we use Xero) exist to pull spending data. However, they are unconfigurable and perform all the matching automatically, which doesn't always work.

Similar to other offerings in the broader SaaS management space, "usage analytics" is a feature, in theory enabling you to right-size your SaaS licenses based on how often users actually use the stack. However, we have not gotten any value from this as it relies on IdP logins. Any app that isn't accessed directly via Okta (or otherwise) can't be tracked. Lack of regular session refreshes (e.g. when using SSO) further prevents this system from actually building a picture of your user's access habits.

Vertice's market insights can be helpful, particularly regarding price benchmarks and informing you of vendor-specific quirks (e.g. "We've never seen a customer get a discount on list price unless they're on Enterprise.") However, on the occasions we have asked for insights on specific applications, we've found them too high-level and untargeted to our business to be a feasible replacement to doing the due diligence ourselves.

The web portal for tracking contracts and renewals is clear and easy to use, but many companies will find it in an uncertain Twilight Zone.

This isn't a Contract Management System and won't replace one, but it isn't a generalised SaaS management and spending tool, either. The portal essentially exists to facilitate interactions with your account manager, no more.

Many of the fields are not configurable and controlled on the Vertice side, meaning you can't build it out and use it as a comprehensive source of SaaS truth. For example, you can't delete an app once it's added to the system - you need to ask Vertice.

When adding a new app, the intake system won't let you continue unless you attach a PDF contract, which means you need to upload a random invoice or other workaround to add SaaS apps that are on monthly rolling payments.

Given that most SaaS management solutions offer contract renewal management features, Vertice's main selling point is its ability to act on your behalf and communicate directly with vendors.

Whether this outweighs the drawbacks outlined above depends entirely on how much time you currently spend doing this and how much your business would benefit from you doing something else.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vertice addresses the challenge of keeping up with a never-ending contract negotiation and renewal cycle for businesses with a significant SaaS portfolio.

**Official Response from Kate Wilson:**

> Hi Steven,

Thanks for your feedback. We appreciate your insights on areas for improvement, especially regarding integrations and usage analytics. We're actively working to enhance these features and provide a more comprehensive SaaS management solution. Your dedicated Customer Success Manager will be in touch soon to discuss your specific needs.

 ### 38. Saving your time, to focus in what is important for you

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juanjo R. | Financial Planing & Analist Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

From the beginning, it has given us the opportunity to save time in managing the most important SaaS for the business, which means we can focus on more important things. It has provided us with a series of steps and advice that we are already implementing in the following negotiations and we will continue to see how this agreement evolves.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

Currently we have not had enough time to be able to give a negative opinion or point to improve.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Mainly it is the reduction in time that we obtain by delegating this work to people more expert than us.

 ### 39. Significant savings and effortless renewal processes thanks to Vertice

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Veterinary | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

The Vertice team took on our SaaS renewals and spending, and their expertise in this area was immediately evident. The Vertice team not only handled the entire process efficiently but also demonstrated their negotiation prowess by securing renewals at significantly better rates than we could have achieved on our own. This partnership with Vertice saved us an enormous amount of time and effort—resources we simply could not afford to divert from our core business activities. The immediate savings we saw were a testament to their skill and dedication. We highly recommend Vertice to any organization looking to optimize their SaaS and cloud spending.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

There is nothing negative to say about Vertice.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vertice's expertise simplifies the management of SaaS and cloud expenses, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks and everything is tracked accurately. By handling renewals, Vertice ensures they are completed on time and at significantly better rates, avoiding any service disruptions and securing cost-effective terms. **What do you like best about Vertice?**

Very structured onboarding with check-ins, assigned tasks, and training.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

A very minor dislike but this does take "work". The less organized you are in your systems, the more work it will take to GET organized in the Vertice system. Just do the work. It's worth it.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vendor contract management and negotiation

 ### 41. Review Vertex

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Juan C. | IT Equipment Specialist, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

Easy to use, professional, you can leave it in their hands and trust that your SaaS will be renewed correctly. I use it daily and the integration with the applications is great, allowing you to see the licensing usage per user.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

The management platform, still in the process of improvement, especially in the management of departments and users

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Currently, the only drawbacks I find are that the minimum amount to negotiate is 5k, although we have known this since we started working together. Likewise, there is little SaaS that falls within that category, so the impact is minimal. Even so, it keeps us active with the small providers.

**Official Response from Kate Wilson:**

> Thank you very much for your comment!

 ### 42. Smooth and successful negotiation process and outcome

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 07, 2024

**What do you like best about Vertice?**

It has been a pleasure working with our contact person at Vertice. I always get support timely and receive better offers from the suppliers with Vertice's involvement. This gives me peace-of-mind that we are getting the best offer possible from whatever tools we purchase. I also appreciate the flexibility Vertice offers to meet our tight timeline sometimes, which enables me to deliver business-critical projects ontime.

**What do you dislike about Vertice?**

When planning a new project that needs new tools, I would need to factor in 1-2 months leadtime to involve Vertice in the purchase, which can delay the launch of some projects. Vertice seems to undestand this challenge well so they have been trying to meet our deadline when possible.

**What problems is Vertice solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Vertice helps us get better offers from potential SaaS suppliers.

**Official Response from Kate Wilson:**

> Thanks for the great review! We're delighted to be a valuable partner to your business.

They are no always able to benchmark SAAS solutions for specific industry products, but can still assist with the negotiations.
