Reverse compatibility to old software and other tools also needs to be improved. I love that I can easily create ERD diagrams and export the entities for my projects. I used this tool for my intro to database course, and as a beginner, I was able to create tables complete with primary keys, foreign keys, and relationships mapped out. I could easily see this tool being used for more complex projects than an intro to databases course. **What do you dislike about Redgate Data Modeler?** The UI is clunky and unintuitive at times. I sometimes found it challenging to navigate between menus and change specific attributes. Using the platform requires a lot of point-and-click.
