VersaPay is very user friendly! It is free of charge and very straightforward to use. It is full of many helpful features and customization options. We can have different notices delivered to our customer, such as invoices/statements and even past due notices. This is a great tool if I am short on time and can send a notice in one click! Tech support is extremely responsive and explains in thorough detail if we are having any issues. We can also (with permission) login to customer support mode so we can see exactly what our customer sees. This is really helpful if we have been requested by the customer to make a payment on their behalf. It is also very helpful to our customers who can send payments themselves by entering credit card details or ACH details. What do you dislike about Versapay? The application of when credits are taken can be confusing.If a customer takes a credit on an invoice that they have sent payment for, the email notice we receive does not indicate that a credit was applied when a payment was taken. This requires us to login in view the list of payments we have received, then this area will reflect that the credit was taken on the invoice. That is my only dislike! Being new in the field of credit and collections, VersaPay has helped me develop more structure and understanding of the processes I need to implement to better myself in the practice of credit and collections. VersaPay has allowed me to have a bird's eye view of my whole AR and how to structure my activities around the most important thing, getting paid on time!!! I would totally recommend VersaPay to anyone that is new to the field, or even any company that is looking for a simple, organized tool for collections processes. Most all of our customers enjoy it and have no issues with receiving invoices either! I also don't have to spend time mailing invoices the old fashioned way, as customers can receive all of the invoices through the ARC portal. Another huge benefit!! Benefits once customer learns to navigate is they can do their own adjustments and pay as they need without having to involve other's assistance. As a viewer of my assigned accounts I love that I can see at a glance a snap shot of delinquent accounts to pursue. It shows me customers that need credits back (on a cod account or open account) It helps me with add on sales, sometimes when I reach out about the credit they want to buy something. What do you dislike about Versapay? I have had a few customers complain about receiving duplicate invoices since we made the switch and have tried repeatedly to get it fixed to no avail. It confuses them and then they reach out to me for clarification. We have also had instances in which invoices from certain days will be sent out without any detail on the invoice and I'm unsure of why that happens. Benefits are that customers can look up invoices easily on their own and I am able to pull up an invoice without having to go into our complicated distribution software. What do you dislike about Versapay? too hard to make a large detailed payment - unable to add invoices in a payment if you miss one - cannot apply partial credits Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
