**What do you like best about Vero Cloud?**

Vero is a reliable customer engagement platform and gets the job done without hype. That's what I like about it. I've been around for over 10 years so it feels really solid. Whilst they don't have the most features in the market, they've got all the core stuff a growing SaaS company needs and it works well for us.

**What do you dislike about Vero Cloud?**

historically parts of the app felt a little slow. The team has made great progress on this based on what I can see in Vero 2.0 which they're releasing soon. So I'm looking forward to that. You can see that as our business grows we'd like to support other channels like in-app messaging. But again I know this is on the roadmap.

**What problems is Vero Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're using Vero for all our marketing automated emails, to increase activation and retention.

**What do you like best about Vero Cloud?**

I like Vero Cloud for offering the right features at the right price. I find its workflows with control flows like if/else and wait until really useful. The localization feature stands out, and the templating language is great too, especially its ability to include user data, event data, or even external data fetched at runtime. The initial setup was very straightforward.

**What do you dislike about Vero Cloud?**

Make the UI slightly faster. In segments, include explanations on the caching strategy in the 'segments' pages. Add an MCP server. Allow CRUD for workflows via API, with versioning.

**What problems is Vero Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Vero Cloud for implementing non-trivial automation workflows with stop criteria, multi-channel support, and i18n. It offers control flows, localization, and a templating language, making it easy to include user, event, or external data fetched at runtime.

It makes it easy to schedule emails in advance. The drag-and-drop interface is simple to use.

The team is also quite responsive.

We've dealt with some bugs, however the support team is really responsive so they help investigate in a timely manner.

We struggled with a lot of manual email setup so it increases efficiency by allowing us work on emails in advance using scripts for our audience.

Good, transparent pricing. Flexible roadmap to suit customer needs. The team knows this space deeply.

It would be nice to do more in app etc (other channels) - that is a limitation. Previously, emails could be slow to deliver, but that has been fixed (after discussion with them)

**What problems is Vero Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We send all our emails (aside from personal emails) via Vero. This means pre-sales content campaigns, post sale onboarding, then all the transactional emails to notify customers of events in our platform. 

Having everything all in one place means we have one less thing to worry about.

Being able to integrate customer communication directly on our customer database has been a game changer in terms of creating personalised emails with up to date information at scale without massive issues moving data around as we had with previous vendors on a dated architecture

We had a little bit of trouble getting some triggered emails running initially but those seem to have been ironed out now. It should be noted we were one of the first of their clients to move over to their new stack so expected this

Being able to create highly personalised emails at scale with high variability and control with very low effort and at very reasonable costs. It allows us to operate managed marketing services to our brokers which drives their and thus our business

The ability to segment users by any user or tracked event property (or event in general) and program automated campaigns based on the user's tracked events and properties.

**What do you dislike about Vero Cloud?**

The inability to mass-prune user properties, like in the case where you need to remove a certain property from all users equally. The API can handle single-user property removals, but not all users all at once.

**What problems is Vero Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Being able to target the right customers at the right point in their journey on our websites by only programming the conditions for contact once is a massive time-saver and allows us to gain value on our terms from our customers.

Its was very intuitive and allowed me to easily craft and send messages across platforms to boost product sales. We interpreted it with our email system to allow quick follow ups.

At OpenAgent we run all our transactional emails though Vero and have been very impressed with i's performance and functionality. The tool provides both great APIs as well as interface to create segments, campaigns, email templates as well as push in parameters.

The customer service is also top notch and local - for us in Australia anyway. Highly recommended

**What do you dislike about Vero Cloud?**

Pushing a lot of event can quickly scale up the account in terms of the plan cost. I think a more sensible approach there based primarily on send volumes would be much more preferable to us. But I do understand the national in the pricing approach.

- Transactional emails
- Benefits are that Vero handles all the logic of events, customers, templates and segments. The data just needs to be pushed in.

Simple interface, feature rich:
- user segmentation, 
- log searching,
- quite complex flows building
- possibility to insert parts of emails from our "dictionaries" (retrieved live from our servers)

One of the best things is good contact with Vero staff and their helpfulness and friendly attitude. :-)

**What do you dislike about Vero Cloud?**

Some dev-focused features, like versioning wouldn't hurt. :-)

**Recommendations to others considering Vero Cloud:**

Great if You want non-dev people to run all messaging efforts.
It'll be a good tool for fairly simple to quite advanced use cases.
The pricing was better to us compared to other tools we considered (Intercom etc.)

I'd think twice if you need precise versioning and integration with developer flows - here You might be missing some features.

Anyway, the Vero staff is friendly and open. They have never done any "hard-selling" on us by pushing to use features we didn't need.
Quite the opposite, they've helped us set up stuff, optimise our account and run things smoothly. Good guys! :-)

Communication with clients:
- confirming bookings and reminding of them — with transactional emails
- re-activating some of them — with behavioural flows

The main benefit is that almost all of required actions might be done by non-developers.
Which makes life easier for all the company. :-)

We've been a customer of Vero's for years now. I've been incredibly impressed with their continued focus on customer feedback.  They have always been transparent with where our requests fit in on their roadmap. I've always felt like they were willing to dig deep into any issues we were having and put the appropriate amount of resources behind investigating and resolving issues.  You really feel like you have a true partner when working with Vero. It's not just another service you use -- it's a team that is there to grow alongside your business.

**What do you dislike about Vero Cloud?**

Selfishly I would like some of our companies' requests to be prioritized above other product requests.  It's a minor dislike, since I understand that may not always be realistic -- they have a business to run.  Perhaps just more transparent voting on product requests that individuals can see where their requests would end up on a roadmap.

**What problems is Vero Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We are a highly data driven business and love Vero's ability to leverage our data to build out campaigns that make sense for our business.  They truly are market leaders where others may not quite know the benefits that Vero has to offer (yet).

**What do you like best about Vero Cloud?**

Vero initially shines in its versatility. It tries to be your single source for all things messaging. While I've mostly used it for emails, it also does push notifications and the like. One area where it really simplified our flow was in its ability to not only tackle newsletter emails, but also transactional emails. A product like Mailchimp formerly relied on a companion product, Mandrill to achieve the same feat. With Vero, it's all built-in. 

While previously having an acceptable 'live' email template interface for tweaking emails, they now have a fully  WYSIWYG interface that allows marketers to not have to create their own emails without much knowledge of the intricacies of email HTML/CSS. Pair this with a robust rules interface that you can use to target specific segments and for specific events, and you get a pretty powerful solution for engaging with your customers. 

Vero has steadily been improving their UI, and it's now quite good. This used to be a point of friction, as it could lag and some elements suffered from glaring usability issues, like email templates.

Lastly, the team is a pleasure to deal with. They're always very accommodating with customer support requests and are thoughtful.

**What do you dislike about Vero Cloud?**

While not specifically a detraction of Vero itself, I don't believe it supports a direct integration with Salesforce. While there are solutions out there to connect the two, it's not as robust as a solution like Pardot that is tightly integrated with Salesforce. Customers that need that level of integration are probably better off with that, but for most, especially those with another CRM solution, Vero gets the job done admirably.

We use Vero for our transaction emails and some of our marketing emails as well. Our team has also experimented with Pardot for newsletter-related emails.

I think Vero is incredibly easy once you get started. It is extremely intuitive, and logically structured. It differs in this way very positvt relative to other large, complex and cumbersome systems.

+ The ability to pull in data from external sources is a game-changer for both ad-hoc and drip campaigns; I love pulling in manual data from a Google Sheets API to enrich & personalise ad hoc campaigns
+ Powerful templating language with full access to Liquid; Thank you for having Loops!
+ True power user tool—I haven't seen anything I wasn't able to accomplish with Vero yet
+ In addition to user properties I can reference event properties in flows and content
+ Properties can contain nested objects (JSON data)

- Need to "hack" together version control with environments which is a bit clunky

If you are looking for a segmentation tool for a transactional B2B is a great tool. But if you are B2C with a high volume of user, It can cost a lot.

A great tool to use but doesn't help our spamminess problem.

**What do you like best about Vero Cloud?**

This is by far the best customer success team I’ve worked with in email marketing. Not only do they respond within the hour, but they have a solution to my problem within the day. 
The software allows for great customization by letting more complex data flow from our data warehouse into the MAP. The API is an integral part of their product offering and the emphasis on event-driven email workflows means that ignoring it is missing a lot of the value. Because of this, leads will be able to receive the respective emails that are more focused on where they are in the buying funnel based on actions that they take. The workflows and behavior generated automatic emails have a great UI, making it very easy to see which emails contacts could be sent. I also really love having different environments to do email testing/building without “dirtying up” my actual sending environment. This is the only MAP I’ve seen that does this and it makes implementation and building out campaigns so much nicer.

**What do you dislike about Vero Cloud?**

The software itself is more technical than others where it might not be user friendly to the general marketer. Unless your team has experience working with code and data management, you may need to partner with a technical person at your company (if you do, that is a pro given the technical freedom you have). The way staging and production environments are setup could be better. It works pretty well, but data mapping between the different environments is a bit tricky. For example, you aren’t able to delete properties and properties don’t auto-create across and environments or data doesn’t sync between the different properties to the respective contact.

**What problems is Vero Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were looking to use our own data to drive marketing activities that were impactful to the lead/customer and know when to get Sales involved. Due to the flexibility of the API, we are able to take our own data learning and give a more confident handoff between Marketing and Sales. After only using the software for a few months, we are already seeing an increase in our engagement and ROI. In addition, Vero’s visual campaign tools have allowed us to build and launch programs faster.

Vero is an excellent lacual platform that contains a clear and helpful interface. These types of tools are the ones we need today, especially when it comes to the world of email marketing, and this is precisely what makes me happy to allow us to keep our advertising campaigns that have email mastery at high standards.

Undoubtedly, Vero is at the height of innovation, and this is really fascinating since it has templates that remain in the professional channel. In addition, its easy use allows any volunteer or non-expert to understand the conditions and be of help to the entrepreneurial process.

**What do you dislike about Vero Cloud?**

This platform has features and tools of a high standard. The progress that we can detect is really fascinating. It is good to say that any app designed can have problems that can greatly affect our work; however, with Vero, this type of minimal failure is covered or forgotten since its methodology is a good interface. Personally, I can say that this is one of those few pages that do not have limitations, or in case of presenting some, they are of very low standard.

**Recommendations to others considering Vero Cloud:**

I personally feel obliged to recommend this tool since every entrepreneur who needs to position their advertising campaigns and keep their clients informed of each innovation should use Vero, as this allows us to achieve the above with real ease and professionalism.

Initially, this platform has helped to keep our functionality active in the world of email marketing, as its templates and tools facilitate a lot of work and allow us to deliver a fascinating and professional presentation overall. Additionally, thanks to Vero, we have managed to cut costs in this work, which is very good since other platforms come with high shipping costs.

I like Vero. The product is constantly evolving and improving. Everything is really easy to use. Last but not least, they have an excellent customer support team. They are super responsive. I definitely recommend them

Some small features are missing but I'm  sure they will come in the near future

**What do you like best about Vero Cloud?**

Vero enabled us to accelerate our business growth. Thanks to them our email marketing now makes 15% of our total revenue. There are many tools, that promise being able to do everything across all channels, but lack in just being good at one thing. Vero is a very strong tool in its space as ESP, priceworthy and I very recommend it for any data-driven business that works with newsletters or behavioral-based messaging.

**What do you dislike about Vero Cloud?**

As your business and your userbase is growing Vero needs some more minutes to evaluate people part of triggers and segments. They rebuilt their backend to cover up and took our suggestens very serious. Maybe we got to spoilt

**What problems is Vero Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Dynamic and behavioral-based email marketing, which is easy to use even for marketers.

**What do you like best about Vero Cloud?**

Vero is a tool where the user can send emails to a large number of contacts in their inbox in bulk, and it is also capable of automatically responding to all those clients you have in your email. Vero is an interesting tool especially for marketing designers or advertisers who wish to turn emails into a means to promote a product or service, which in our particular case are medical services since it is a clinic. Additionally, you don't necessarily have to be a marketing professional to manage a contact list and test it yourself from your computer.

**What do you dislike about Vero Cloud?**

Vero is one of the most sophisticated email marketing applications, so it does not contain any features at the trial stage that I dislike. Its tools are advanced, and I believe it is the best application for managing marketing campaigns.

**Recommendations to others considering Vero Cloud:**

Of course, I recommend Vero to all those professionals who use it for marketing as an email tool. Additionally, they can personalize their emails creatively, and finally, it will facilitate their workflow by saving them time in sending emails massively to their contacts and offering automated responses.

**What problems is Vero Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To remind patients or clients about scheduled appointments with their doctor, a list of patients is managed to remind them of the day, date, and time they need to attend their respective consultation, using Vero as a means of an informational campaign where we also indicate the consultation price. Its personalization functionality saves me a lot of time so I don't have to look for another page to design and add logos of the clinic that the email represents.

**What do you like best about Vero Cloud?**

Like a lot of these background processing systems you're really only going to hear about it when things go wrong.  Vero provides us with a lot of support for triggering and maintaining email campaigns for our application.

It's simple to use and to date we haven't experienced any outages (knock on wood).  That, combined with a clean and easy-to-use interface make this an ideal solution to our needs.

**What do you dislike about Vero Cloud?**

The only thing that comes to mind is the number of clicks required to see an actual email as it was sent to a customer.  You have to find the customer, dig into the triggers, find the event, click a drop down, and finally click to see the email content.  It'd be nice to have an easier way to get to the meat of the email.

**Recommendations to others considering Vero Cloud:**

Unlike most products, it's a bit harder to 'give it a try'... 

That being said, go by the reviews (we did) and we were happy with our decision.

Vero has a clean and usable interface that can be learned within a day or two. But when you need to create more complex workflows, that's when it really shines and you discover more and more powerful features the deeper you dive in.

I'm waiting for their A/B testing feature to be integrated into their new visual workflow editor, but I know it's coming.

We used Vero to send out the initial Onboarding emails for our startup app. Vero easily integrates with mobile and is a great tool if you are a startup comprised mostly of highly-technical team members. As a marketer, it was difficult for me to create the workflows I needed to create highly targeted segments of our users.

**What do you like best about Vero Cloud?**

Great features for developers and programmers. Our email sends have been consistent. Strong API that works really well. Great templating features that allow for dynamic insertion of fields and the ability to make certain parts of the template editable for other users or campaigns. Great price point - we were able to reduce our monthly cost by about 60%. They also have great support that has been very prompt with their responses to even our most difficult questions.

**What do you dislike about Vero Cloud?**

Hate the UI. It's really clunky and doesn't take you through the logical order when sending an email. This makes the process of setting up and sending an email significantly more time consuming. Deliverability rates are also slightly below those that we had on our old email platform. If you're not a programmer or developer, I'd recommend using another service.

**Recommendations to others considering Vero Cloud:**

Really only valuable if you have developers or programmers on staff. There are many other softwares with better UIs that can do a better job for the average user.

**What problems is Vero Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We were previously using a managed email service that was significantly more expensive. Vero helped us migrate away from that and minimize our variable cost of each send.

**What do you like best about Vero Cloud?**

I've been on very for a couple years now, first for a corporation I worked with and now with my own company. I find their support one of the best, usually within 12 hours you get a response. The interface has come along way and Vero is one of the most powerful segmenting/automated platforms you can find.

**What do you dislike about Vero Cloud?**

There was a learning curve at first and a couple missing features, the analytics remains kinda weak. Most of these have gotten better though.
