Here are the top 4. The ease of use from a users and administrative perspective. Once we implemented the system, we were able to roll it out to our locations for security camera usage and access control, where we had permission. The ability to use Bluetooth as the primary source for access, which allows us to forego purchasing access cards, integrate the solution with our IAM platform for automated user management. The ability to give location based administrators access to administer their respective environment is a time saver. Remote unlock feature, which allows for a successful hybrid environment. Deliveries, forgotten phones, etc. **What do you dislike about Verkada?** I see nothing as a downside to using Verkada. **What problems is Verkada solving and how is that benefiting you?** There are 2 big problems that Verkada solved for us. The first is purchasing cards, we are a non-profit and cycle through 1500 to 2000 volunteers on a yearly basis and moving to Bluetooth readers has saved us thousands of dollars. Being a hybrid environment, since the pandemic, we are still able to receive deliveries and services with the remote unlock capabilities provided. ### 5. Great Products! The identify needs first and ask lots of questions before talking about products and solutions. In addition with being great with subject matter experts at our organization, they're also incredible at working with non-technical staff who need a much more educational approach. Their tech is amazing and has taken us leaps and bounds beyond our dated NVR system. **What do you dislike about Verkada?** It's hard to identify any real problems with the company. I suppose that not being able to keep locally cached camera data on a local appliance is a downside. The product is on the high end of the spectrum, but it can only be considered overpriced if you don't understand the actual buffet of features and benefits you get with your subscription. **What problems is Verkada solving and how is that benefiting you?** As an open to the public organization, security is a very high priority for us. Verkada not only let us significantly reduce the number of devices we need to cover the same area, it adds additional features like pedestrian traffic flow meters and headcounting for people entering and leaving the facility. ### 24. Verkada did not disappoint! I got a 42, 52, and 62 series of cameras for my different locations and the coverage is so great. The storage on the cloud and the daily checks I am able to do at my facility are fantastic. Not only did they provide me with all the information about the latest tech and trends in the project field (environmental sensors and camera integration), but they were able to get the products to me faster than most these days--what with shortages and shipping issues. The products are high-quality, easy to install, a breeze to integrate, and work wonderfully. Working with Verkada has been an absolute dream. **What do you dislike about Verkada?** There really is not much that I can say about Verkada that is negative. My only complaint would have to be about the price of the products and licenses. That is a hard pill to swallow for a small school district like ours and we tend to have to rely on grants in order to be able to even come close to affording the offerings from Verkada. Then again, as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for" and Verkada delivers. **What problems is Verkada solving and how is that benefiting you?** Verkada is providing us with video and environmental surveillance for our school district. This has allowed up to track, monitor, and maintain safety in our schools. There have been several instances that the products have brought to our attention already so that we were able to mitigate any potential issues that could arise from the events. ### 47. I would say the price makes it hard to get more camera but they work really well. I would also say the access control is expensive also. We purchased the cameras after looking at a few options and we were very pleased with the purchase process, ease of installation (POE) and the Verkada Command interface for the cameras. We liked them so much that we converted a relatively new access control system over to Verkada. **What do you dislike about Verkada?** The company seems unwilling to focus resources on making changes for existing customers. They used to be fantastic about feature requests and assisting the user, but they seem to now only want to create new products and make sales. Support is critical to the long-term survival of a company, and Verkada, in my opinion, is now missing that vital piece. Second, their reporting is awful. Getting audit logs, filtering users by division, etc. are all either extremely cumbersome or just not possible at all. For a security company, these are MUST HAVES. **What problems is Verkada solving and how is that benefiting you?** We use Verkada for both Surveillance and Access control. Having both products allows us to use the Verkada Command interface to manage both areas in an integrated manner. ### 49.
