It is pretty basic. **What do you dislike about Veritas NetBackup?** restores take a while, not very user friendly interface. Expensive and did not have a good customer service experience on multiple occasions **Recommendations to others considering Veritas NetBackup:** it works. But I think there are better options. **What problems is Veritas NetBackup solving and how is that benefiting you?** we need a backup solution. We have been able to restore lost files. ### 4. It is a reliable solution for tape backup. **What do you dislike about Veritas NetBackup?** It was a great product 10-15 years ago, and maybe it still is in a fully physical environment. In a virtualized environment something like Veeam is a better solution. **Recommendations to others considering Veritas NetBackup:** If you are completely virtualized, consider something like Veeam instead. **What problems is Veritas NetBackup solving and how is that benefiting you?** Backup to tape.
