The nothing to dislike in the product as such, but real-time backup can sometimes cause devices (Desktop/Laptop) to hang which is quite irritating if happened during work. Backup encryption, backup compression, delta copy and incremental backup, different data stores with respect to users location and daily alert for user where backup does not happen. Installation and Configuration is easy. Rollout was as simple as any other software. Very good configuration options. Exclusion by file type is very good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Arctera™ Desktop & Laptop Option? The client agent though works most of the time, there will be occasions where it stops working for no reason at all. Troubleshooting the problem is a waste of time as nothing other than a reinstallation will resolve it. The administration server tends to report that a backup process has failed on a client machine despite the backup completing without an error on the client side. Recommendations to others considering Arctera™ Desktop & Laptop Option: Do your research before considering buying Veritas Desktop and Laptop Option.
