It's the simplest way of unloading big features. Example1: Custom Domain feature for multi-tenant architecture. This feature is a bit of a breakthrough for Tradly where we have been using AWS to manage all the custom domains. When Vercel released this feature, it made our job easier Example2: Upgrade to Production of past deployments. We often ship, Where sometimes a critical bug could happen in production. Vercel provides us a no-nonsense, fast deployment platform wherein we can push and test changes for our jamstack applications, saving considerably on release and deployment bandwidths. It also provides multiple pre-built templates to deploy the site quickly. No need to worry about the server deployment and hosting, just push your code to version control and auto-build will be triggered by Vercel. As such, there is no specific disadvantage, but if it supports python application, one can deploy even dynamic app on Vercel without the need to have look for any other hosting platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. Recommendations to others considering Vercel: If your use cases are comples (like country based routing with rewrites) - its better to setup on you own.
