What do you like best about Verblio? We are three months into using Verblio and there are no hidden fees or lack of communication. They do everything they say they will do and have a team of managers there to help you find the best writers and answer any question you have. They even make revisions a simple enough ask, but when you find a gem of a writer revisions become a thing of the past. The only thing I would say I dislike is that I wish we could access a voice-over for videos instead of the elevator music. I also would add on YouTube video upload and SEO for video as well to my articles, taking that level off my plate as well. Verblio is a one-stop shop for all my content creation needs. The benefits are huge for a my tiny marketing team and the biggest benefit is when I need content I don't think twice I go to Verblio upload a request and add a due date. Content Manager Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) 3/25/2021 "After Trying Three Other Options, Verblio is The Content Solution We Were Looking For" 5/5 Describe the project or task Verblio helped with: I am responsible for coordinating blog, page, and resource guide content for 25+ clients (about 50 pieces of content) a month. I use Verblio to generate copy for clients which I can then tweak to finalize for SEO, client formatting preferences, adding keywords and links as needed. That is difficult to narrow down because it's been such an improvement over the three previous companies we've outsourced to! I'd have to say: TALENTED WRITERS After years of working with other "solutions" we were extremely frustrated and wasting a lot of time reworking articles we paid other people to write due to writers not doing their research, using poor grammar and misspelling words (English was not their first language), and lazily copying other existing articles and only changing wording slightly (I wasn't ethically comfortable with the copyright infringement). There was also a lot of silly instances of what we call "filler text" in which the writers stuffed in meaningless words to get to the word count instead of providing valuable content that flowed nicely. Verblio has talented writers that clearly speak English and have knowledge in the fields they submit topics about or are willing to research them. We like that we can assign writers as well as prefer writers for different clients and that longer documents can only be written by those who've proven themselves. We also like that sometimes there is more than one article to chose from! CLEAN DASHBOARD FOR ORGANIZATION Other writers networks we tapped into didn't offer a clear organized dashboard for our purchases OR a white label option where clients can review content and suggest changes. EASY TO MAKE REQUESTS Some of the options we've tried did not allow for us to expand on requests. We'd submit a topic, tiny description, and highlight keywords. PERIOD. Verblio allows me provide a clear outline of info, upload helpful files, assign writers, and set due dates. FAST TURN AROUND Other solutions took over a week to respond, sometimes longer. With Verblio I sometimes have responses in less than 24 hours which is handy when we are in a pinch! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Verblio? I'd love to have the option to move credits between accounts without contacting a manager, or order different sized pieces of content within one client account. I'm also very much looking forward to the solution of allowing clients to request changes like we do. They often spend a lot of time retyping things and get frustrated when it would be nice if they could highlight. Verblio has helped me create content for some very specific niche needs like section 105 HRA tax plans, rural real estate utilities, sports endorsements, and more. With so many writers available Verblio has someone who's worked in almost every industry under the sun available. When I've had very specific needs I've been able to reach out to the Verblio team and they've been able to help me find someone who knew exactly about the subject we needed. I also very much like the ability to get submissions from multiple writers for a single piece and then buy only the one we like best. It makes content creation a little more economical when we're not having to pay to wait for rewrites or pay for something that's going to have to be heavily edited in house. My only frustrations have come from some of the writers themselves, which I was able to get solved with providing for detailed content outlines when submitting new projects. At my past organization and in my current role Verblio solves the problem of scalable content creation. On staff, W2 writers don't make sense unless you're constantly creating content about a single subject. With Verblio I've been able to get projects into the hands of writers who actually know the subject vs having to pay for a contractor or inhouse writer to research the subject enough to be able to write on it competently. I'm very pleased with the content provided by their writers and how knowledgeable most of the writers are about SEO in general. Blog Writing: Most of the blogs we got from the Verblio writers were on point. It's nice that Verblio has writers with dedicated industry experience, so your blog posts are written by someone that has worked or is currently working in the industry. This makes life easier since you don't have to teach the writers the basics of your industry or the markets that your company serves. In my experience, providing detailed feedback and clear communication to the writers about changes and your goal of the blog post is crucial. This will reduce the amount of time you go back and forward with revisions, and the writer will learn faster about your style of communication. I also used all this content to send out a newsletter to our subscribers. We had a fantastic open rate and click-through rates in our email marketing campaigns. SEO: For all the content that it was creating for SEO, we got amazing results very quickly. I'll tell the writer what the keyword I wanted to use was, and they follow accordingly. At the same time, the content for SEO will read natural and with a language that Google 'likes.' Most of the writers will do a great job inserting internal and external links, which is a big plus as well. Providing useful information about your SEO strategy is key to success. The more information you give to the writers, the better SEO optimization you will get in your blog posts. +Photo: All the pictures that I get for my blog post were related to the topic of the post. I loved the content that I was receiving, as I mentioned above. Besides, I do like the platform that Verblio is built in. It is effortless to use and to connect with the writers, to submit feedback, and to get your blog post delivered the way is convenient for you. I don't dislike anything about Verblio. A few times I had to contact customer support regarding the picture delivery services but their response time was incredibly fast and provided solutions right away. Recommendations to others considering Verblio: My recommendation to other people considering Verblio will be to provide as much feedback as possible to your writers. This is a two-way job, and in my experience, the better feedback I provide to my writers, the better content I will get. Tell them what you like and what you don't like. Tell them why you like it and why you don't like it. Provide examples from other blog posts that you like and why did you like them. This is like having a new employee (only cheaper), and you need to train this 'new employee.' Don't expect the writers will give you quality content if you are not doing your part. I promise that putting the extra effort at the beginning will pay off at the end. If you like, think of it as training a new puppy. And who doesn't love puppies, right?
