Veratad provides ways to easily and securely verify age and identities online, the API is easy to understand, and there are a lot of integrations with e-commerce software. For my industry, they are the gold standard, full stop. The only experience I have with other solutions is when trying to use someone else's website, lets just say the experience was less than spectacular, user intervention was always needed.
