Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) 10/31/2023 "Secure and user-centric digital identity with uPort" 4.5/5 What do you like best about Veramo? uPort has truly impressed me with its decentralized digital identity solution that prioritizes user control and data security.It's wonderful how easily I can manage and distribute my credentials while maintaining my privacy.The use of blockchain technology and smart contracts has built confidence in the system without depending on centralized authority. - The mobile app and SDKs have made it simple to integrate uPort into numerous apps and systems.One of the noteworthy features for me has been the reusable KYC credentials, which enable for a one-time verification of identification information before enabling secure reuse across different services. I found the whole user experience to be not just intuitive but also very smooth. uPort has made managing my digital identification a stress-free and safe experience. Highly recommended! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Veramo? So far, I haven't found much wrong with uPort. In our testing, the platform proved to be secure and resilient. One small complaint is the procedure for recovering your uPort identity if you lose access to it, which requires engaging with smart contract addresses rather than a better user experience. Companies stored all my personal information. Now I use uPort to control my own identifiers and data. I decide what information gets shared and who sees it. uPort lets services issue tamper-proof credentials about me. I can share credentials privately to prove facts about myself. This puts me in charge of my identity, not outside companies. I can securely reuse my identity everywhere through uPort. Services benefit from easy decentralized identity verification. One of the main challenges facing uPort, as with any decentralized identity solution, is widespread adoption. For a decentralized identity system to be truly effective, it needs to be widely accepted and integrated into various platforms and services.
