I work at a school and we use Veracross for so many things. We can pull and access class schedules, teaching schedules, student and family information, reports and so much more! We can access student photos which is very helpful when one needs to locate a student in the middle of the day. We can also print photos of every member of a section so a teacher can learn all student names and faces quickly. We are a private school so we take great pride in knowing our students. Being able to greet them by name quickly is a great way to start relationship building. I wish it were a little more like Apple where you can just start and go. It's not as intuitive as I would like.

Also, when it doesn't have a feature we need, they start a ticket, and it seems to take a while for this to be remedied. I wonder if they need more tech help/customer service? Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Veracross is an all-in-one school information system for us. We can manage nearly all aspects of our constituent data, plus many processes. It’s changing our school for the better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There are not many complaints that I have about Veracross now that we have settled into the system. I will say that Veracross requires users to really understand its architecture in order to maximize how we build out and conduct our processes. This takes time, a very dedicated account manager, and ideally a dedicated system Administrator. While Veracross would not have told us how to organize our personnel to successfully implement and manage the system, we have truly found that without a dedicated system administrator, the system would be completely overwhelming. The gradebook feature is the best. As a parent, I can keep track of current grades, and as a teacher, it does all the weighting and averaging for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's not the easiest to navigate. Teachers sometimes have difficulty posting attachments with the assignments. The teacher website is nothing special to look at. There are some things that can be changed as far as the look, but it is not intuitive and easily done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I liked the functionality of Veracross the best. It was a single database, which made usage very convenient and easy. When I was using this, I was attending a private high school. I thought that they really understood the needs of teachers and students, and were able to show that through their services. I also really liked the simplicity of the design the best.
