The most useful tool in Veracross for me has been the VCPay feature. It has completely changed how we are able to configure, track, and make last-minute changes to autopayments. The downside for me is the Development module within Veracross. I am in the Business Office and work directly with our development team recording gifts etc. The platform does work well for them so they are also using another software which makes the recording of gifts and transactions very time consuming. The toolset of Veracross is fantastic, if there's something you can think of there's usually an easy way to get it implemented. I also appreciate their workspaces, as a support technician it allows me to more easily see what people are attempting to do/working on and assist them remotely.

Robust user permissions and logging allow people to work on what they need with the tools they need, without any danger of messing things up for others. There's also a very clear trail of who's done what when audit time comes around.

We have several different departments that utilize Veracross for different purposes, so the utility and versatility the service provides make my job easier as I'm only supporting one product.

The system is very no nonsense, there's no useless flairs (graphics, animations, funny quips), and function is prioritized over form; this is a workhorse product and it really feels that way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The system is rather unintuitive at first. Without a proper walkthrough or training it's very unlikely that a new user would be able to figure out how to perform a task.

Even then, the processes are usually quite rigid so if a hiccup does come up it's hard to solve it on your own. E.g. I've had instances of not being able to find a field editing a record, had to check with our database manager and turns out it was located somehwere I wouldn't have ever thought to look. I use Veracross every day to take attendance for my classes, and it's straightforward and easy to use. It has a calendar functions that keeps track of meetings, although I also use Outlook for that. Veracross and Axiom are basically the same thing, but I have to use both because certain features of Axiom are not available in Veracross, such as recording a behavioral incident for disciplinary purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
