We would like to see improvement whenever an employee is removed from the payroll that they are removed from the list as well because they keep populating. Even if they've been terminated, they still populate in the following payroll field as an active employee. The software is abominable. It's a nightmare from a user experience standpoint - you have to know the right wording in order to be able to search for anything, you never receives confirmation for say, enrolling in benefits, so that you have record of what you enrolled in or that you did enroll in it, and instead it will keep sending you reminders that you need to do it. This leads to all sorts of confusion. Also, every time we have had an issue that needed the tax team's help, it takes months for them to solve it and they never send updates. Vensure has been a great partner for our business. Their benefits administration and payroll services are efficient, accurate, and easy to manage. The mobile app could use a few more features, and occasionally there is a delay in getting responses during especially busy times of year like open enrollment. The reporting dashboard, while useful, took a little time for our team to fully get used to. None of these have been dealbreakers, but there is room for improvement. I like that they you are able to log in to their system and quickly download needed reports such as payroll allocation. We also just recently had open enrollment for benefits and it was easy to navigate the system to sign up for our annual benefits. The site is very user friendly. When we first looked into Vensure HR, we were assured they could beat our current PEO pricing. In the end, that wasn’t the case. We also experienced a lot of turnover among the Vensure employees assigned to our account when we first signed up. The biggest downsides have been service consistency and account ownership. In our first year we were never assigned a dedicated account manager, and frequent rep turnover meant repeatedly losing context. At one point our payroll rep departed just days after an internal reorg with no handoff, which caused our first-ever late payroll. Onboarding was also never fully completed - standard document templates were never loaded into the system, so new hires started with nothing to sign. Multi-state tax registrations (SC, CA, GA, IL) dragged on for months, roughly 37 weeks in one case, and several written requests for a simple status call went unanswered. Benefits enrollment terms were not clearly communicated up front either - the ancillary plan-year cutoff differed from what had been marketed to us. ROI for what we receive is good.....UI services have been fantastic! Payroll is good to, though Prism is not intuitive and can be hard to find things if you don't know where to look. The learning curve can be pretty steep. I also really liked having a dedicated service rep that I met with on a monthly basis. I don't like that we no longer have that dedicated service rep, it's just our payroll person. Mariel Bates is amazing at payroll, very knowledgeable and helpful, but seems to have her plate full with just payroll. I'm not sure if she can help with all the rest of what we rec'd from Sue Dowe when we had he as a dedicated rep. That said, I have not reached out to her to ask for a monthly meeting and just have been reaching out when issues come up. Sometimes she has time to help and sometimes it takes a bit to get a response. I don't think any of that is really on Mariel though as she doesn't really have the time to provide all of what Sue did. Like any platform, there is a learning curve, especially when navigating some of the HR features for the first time. My only negative experience has been with the timekeeping support, which is handled through a separate UI platform involving their vendor. That part of the process was rough; however, Vensure supported us throughout and helped resolve the issues. We were an Emplicity client before the company was acquired by Vensure, and the experience has changed significantly since the transition. One of Emplicity's greatest strengths was the personal touch—you knew exactly who to call when you had a question or needed assistance, and responses were typically received within hours.

Unfortunately, the transition to Vensure over the past two years has been challenging. The personalized service has largely been replaced with generic email addresses and call centers, making it difficult to get timely support. Response times have increased substantially, often taking days rather than hours, and the experience can be even more frustrating for employees who need assistance.

In addition, our benefits open enrollment process has been difficult the last two years. The enrollment experience has been disorganized and created unnecessary challenges for both administrators and employees. At the same time, benefit costs have increased significantly, leading to concerns about the value being delivered.

While there are still outstanding individuals within the organization—such as our payroll representative, Ilya—the overall client experience has declined compared to what we received prior to the acquisition.
