I like how I am able to offer my potential clients and customers another way to accept their payments. I also have the ability to accept tips as well. It is pretty user-friendly. I don't like how you are able to you only able to access it only via their App. I would like it to be also available via desktop. I would like to see more business-related features being added. It also allows me to widen my range of clients and possibly offer more services online. Not as reliable for larger transactions." 3/5 What do you like best about Venmo? • Venmo for Business is informal and approachable for consumers. • For use cases of small consumer transactions, Venmo is great. Many consumers are used to Venmo and trust it, it's easy and familiar for consumers to use to pay a business. • Venmo for Business was very easy to set up with my bank account and start receiving payments. What do you dislike about Venmo? • I work in a business with less frequent, but higher-doller transactions ($5,000-$50,000), so the limits mean I can only use Venmo for the occasional transactions. • Many larger transactions fail, despite being within the Venmo limit range. • This may not be Venmo's fault in every case, but I find it incredibly frustrating that when a transaction fails, I have to call Venmo AND my bank AND other banks involved. We have adopted Venmo as a primary way of handling small reimbursements to our internal and to consultants. For small ($5,000 or less) expenses like travel, lodging, meals, and entertainment, Venmo has been easy and fast. I like that Venmo for Business has a really similar interface to personal use of Venmo, which is something that everyone on my team is really familiar with. Although Venmo business accounts come at no cost, there are unexpected additional fees associated with Venmo. For each transaction, Venmo Business charges a standard fee of 1.9%, along with an additional $0.10. Also, transfer limits differ between business and personal accounts. Venmo for Business resolves issues related to transaction convenience, cost-effectiveness, account separation, transfer limits, user experience, and financial tracking, ultimately providing my business with a more efficient and organized financial management solution. My favorite features of Venmo for Business is the user friendly interface/navigation, ease of receiving payments and transfering funds. The entire app is user friendly making it easy to navigate and find menu items. It's a reliable and legitimate payment app that we prefer to use with clients because of it's dependability.
