I don't understand what the benefit of using Venmo for business vs regular Venmo when they take such a big %. If I'm going to pay for a service I'd rather use square because it takes less % w more capability- which is why I don't use it often. That being said- customers who use venmo love that it's easy to use. It is easy to connect your bank info and get started though! And easy to pay people who also use venmo. At that point I'd rather use square because it has much more capability than Venmo for business and they take less %. I also wish they had features to "purchase" items and could integrate with acuity scheduling or pocketsuite. Their customer support is hard to contact also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. It is much easier but I have had personal friends pay me on accident to my business and then I get a % taken on things I shouldn't have to pay a % on so just wish I never signed up.
