What I like most about Vena is how it combines the flexibility of Excel with stronger controls, workflows, and integrations that help scale FP&A processes. It has improved our budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and scenario planning, while still letting teams work in a familiar environment. I also appreciate the direction Vena is heading in, especially with its AI-enabled reporting and analytics capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like least is the steep learning curve, especially during the initial implementation and report-building phase. At first, setting up data models, hierarchies, and reports can feel complex and highly technical, and troubleshooting problems isn’t always intuitive. Although the platform’s flexibility is a major strength, it can sometimes come at the cost of simplicity and day-to-day ease of administration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
