The best thing I feel about Vena is its User-friendly interface. My client's accounting team's head got the knack of it in just four days. It also supports customizing specific templates and generating customized reports as needed. And the best thing is it has a slight "Excel" UI, making it more familiar. We had to dedicate three engineers to set it up, and then they had to take help from Vena's support team, which took longer. Also, it needs fast internet, 30-40 Mbps is not enough; we need at least 80-100 mbps internet connectivity, though this depends mainly on ISP. So, if the internet goes down, your work is stuck until connectivity returns. Also, a free trial account would be remarkable to suggest to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is Vena solving and how is that benefiting you? Our client previously had on-premises ERP software with other forecasting and sales management modules. Still, being on-premises, had problems with it going down and its maintenance; we were looking for a stable software solution that came to us in the form of Vena, it has everything built in, and being in the cloud, it is safer and easily accessible from anywhere. Additionally, Vena's powerful security/permissions features and task management system provide a safe and secure way to incorporate many users into the finance processes. I like that the tool allows me a broad spectrum of data to model and then map in Excel, this empowers our end users in the field on an interface most are familiar with. Another feature I find extremely helpful is the workflow structure. It allows our company the freedom to design multiple different workflow patterns to fit different necessities in departments. I also like the willingness of support staff to step in and educate users (very polite and intelligent). I would like to see an automatic scheduled refresh into our sandbox environment so that we could have current data while testing new enhancements for our production environment.
