RNDC has decided to pull operations from the CA market. With this business decision, many associates, myself included, are now facing a layoff effective 9/2. People in the workforce are probably in similar boats to me. "I've been with my current employer for several years and planned to continue building my career and experience." However, this has been cut short leaving me in a position where I am reentering the job searching world which has severely changed over the last 8 years. The digital age has brought things like AI into the mix which is something I am still very new to. So, Velvet Jobs has been an amazing resource in helping me to update my resume and cover letter, to ask questions about this current job market, and to learn news ways of selling myself as a valuable candidate to employers looking for new talent.
