The Velocity Incident Module has greatly improved incident reporting. Adoption by shop floor employees was very simple, with the intuitive fields. We are able to capture much detail on incidents great and small, allowing for data trending and analysis to support HSE programs.

The Compliance Module includes sources from internal/company programs and policies, external regulations and permits - all of which include reporting requirement, data collection, inspections and other tasks. The Compliance Module helps to organize all the requirements and develops the action plan to ensure on-time completion. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about VelocityEHS Accelerate | EHS & ESG?

One downside of Velocity is the audit module. It's a straight-forward system to build a template and implement, but but is a bit basic compared to other systems I've seen. Building templates is a bit cumbersome, and has little flexibility and becomes a bit confusing when trying to configure questions, answers and responses.

One other drawback is data analytics - standard reports are very basic and challenging to continue drilling down to the next level. It is important to consider the Data Feed option, so the an external data analytics software, such as PowerBI, can be used to manage and sort the data to see trends, gaps, issues or concerns. We currently use the Ergo module and MSDSOnline from Velocity. Both are easy to use, are used very frequently in our business (almost daily!), and we have had a great relationship with customer service (especially our CSM Gordie - he rocks!).
