Shane has helped our company collect all of our contractor's Certificate of Insurance, W-9 Forms, and Health and Safety Policies by sending out individual emails to contractor companies. He is quick to respond to contractors that have questions. He has played a big part in listening to my ideas and executing them to the Contractor Compliance team. Overall, Contractor Compliance has fit my company's needs because of Shane. **What do you dislike about VelocityEHS | EHS Software to Outpace Risk?** With any contractor management system, it requires loads of preparation to transition contractors into Contractor Compliance. For example, when onboarding contractor companies to use the system, contractors want to hear directly from Klein Tools since with this day and age, there is a lot of scamming and skepticism. **What problems is VelocityEHS | EHS Software to Outpace Risk solving and how is that benefiting you?** We are challenged with contractors not uploading their employees into Contractor Compliance. As a workaround, we are providing a Safety Rules Booklet to each individual contractor upon entering the facility. ### 2. On the hiring contractor side, it's free, and relatively intuitive and easy to use. On the subcontractor side, it's reasonably priced, (the most affordable of all the systems we were subscribed to), and quite easy to stay on top of requirements. **What do you dislike about VelocityEHS | EHS Software to Outpace Risk?** Since we had a subcontractor and a hiring contractor account, I would have loved if the two could have been merged into one single account. It's a feature I'd been asking for for quite some time. **Recommendations to others considering VelocityEHS | EHS Software to Outpace Risk:** Definitely give it a try! If you're managing smaller subcontractors, the cost isn't as prohibitive as a system like ISNetworld, and you can set and manage your own internal requirements. You can even set requirements base on specific conditions. Along with their support, they have a great auto update system that helps keep safety data sheets up to date as well as removing duplicates. **What do you dislike about VelocityEHS | EHS Software to Outpace Risk?** Along with the great online support, there are some emails that come trying to push new products. The user interface could be better but still has a few bugs. Another thing that I dislike is the buying users side. In order for everyone to have access in the facility, we would need to purchase more users. **Recommendations to others considering VelocityEHS | EHS Software to Outpace Risk:** I would recommend other people scope out options first. For a small business VelocityEHS was an overkill and we found ourselves using little of the built in features. They also have a team backing them that you can pay for services that will manage the sight for you and keep all the information updated which could be helpful in a large facility, but for something small it is not necessary. **What problems is VelocityEHS | EHS Software to Outpace Risk solving and how is that benefiting you?** Before, we struggled to keep our SDS managed and up to date, with the help of VelocityEHS we keep the facility in spec. ### 11.
