"User-Friendly Sage-Style Reporting That’s Easy to Share Across the Team"
4/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

It gives us Sage-style reporting, but in a more user-friendly way, and it’s easy to share and distribute across our team. It makes it much easier for team members view Sage data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

It was a bit complicated to learn at first and really requires some advanced Excel knowledge. Some Sage permissions do not allow all users to access the data we wanted to report on but we were able to create work arounds. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Gabriel Michaud of Velixo

Thanks for taking the time to provide this review.

On the learning curve, that's fair and it's on us to shorten it. If your team hasn't been through Velixo Academy yet, it's free for every user at learning.velixo.com and it covers the Excel patterns that trip people up in the first few weeks. I'd also point you to Velixo Intelligence (https://www.velixo.com/product/ai-velixo-intelligence) — a lot of what used to require real Excel depth can now be described in plain English instead, which makes a big difference for the people on your team who aren't formula people.

The Sage permissions piece is worth a second look. Velixo deliberately respects Intacct's own permission model, so what you ran into is usually a question of how roles and subscriptions are set up on the Intacct side rather than a hard wall — and there's often a cleaner path than the workarounds you had to build. Our support team can dig into your specific configuration, or email me directly at gabriel@velixo.com and I'll get the right person looking at it.

I read every review personally, and this one is useful. If we can get the permissions sorted and flatten that ramp for your team, we'd love to turn this into a 5-star experience.

"Flawless Integration, Needs Update Management"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

I like Velixo for its ease of installation straight from the Microsoft approved apps section and the ease of administration. The connection is very easy to set up and maintain, which is great because my accounting team rarely complain and it works flawlessly with manual refreshes. Having something that allows us to present Sage's information in a meeting by simply connecting and refreshing the workbook is amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

I don't like how often it updates and requires an admin to update the software. It should run on legacy updates till a few versions to push back the admins interventions when possible. Just update on a 3 month basis and that would be perfect. Instead of these random small updates that make it not run till the update finishes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Gabriel Michaud of Velixo

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review — I truly appreciate it. I personally read every single review we receive, and feedback like yours helps us improve.

I want to sincerely apologize for the issues you experienced with the update process. It should not require an admin to update the software. This is something we are actively working on with Microsoft to resolve, and our goal is to ensure that future updates are completely smooth and transparent for all our users. We understand how disruptive this can be, and we're taking it very seriously.

If you have any additional feedback or questions, I'd love to hear from you directly — please don't hesitate to reach out to me at gabriel@velixo.com. We'd really love the opportunity to make this a 5-star experience for you, and your satisfaction means the world to us.

Thank you again for your support!

"Boosts Reporting with Easy Excel Integration"
4/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

I really like Velixo's native Excel format, which lets me write formulas in a familiar environment. It also connects directly to live data, making it very friendly and easy to use. The setup was very easy, and it provides a lot of functionality that isn't readily available in other products. I'm really comfortable with its usage, and it effectively solves a niche problem for Acumatica users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

I think the understanding of the Acumatica dataset in Velixo could be improved. If there's a way to enhance the visibility of what's available in Acumatica within Velixo, I think it would make the product a whole lot easier and better to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Damien Zwillinger of Velixo

We're glad to hear that you find Velixo's interface familiar and easy to use. We appreciate your feedback on the support responses and pricing.

You will be happy to hear we have released a new visual Query Builder that lets you select any table and column of the Acumatica DAC model without the need to create Generic Inquiries. It displays friendly names as well as technical names, therefore greatly improving the visibility around what can be queried, and overall the entire experience.

Please try it out on Velixo NX, and let us know! (and maybe update your review if this solves your concern).

"Effortless Reporting, Streamlined Efficiency"
5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

I use Velixo for Easy Reporting where I can simply open my spreadsheet and change the date to get the current activity. I like how I can visualize and customize my reports to be standard without having to edit system-generated ones. I appreciate the efficiency it creates with my reports. It's really helpful that Velixo keeps formats consistent each month, eliminating the need to download from SAGE and format manually. Also, the initial setup of Velixo was very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

Monthly workbook is big, and the calculations can often take a while to update. I'm not very familiar with all the formulas, so I need to learn all the capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Gabriel Michaud of Velixo

Thank you very much for sharing your experience — I truly appreciate you taking the time to write this review. I personally read every review and regularly discuss them with my team, as this feedback directly influences how we continue to improve Velixo.

I’m glad to hear that Velixo is helping you create and update financial reports much faster, while giving you the flexibility to design your own formats. Ease of setup, speed, and versatility are core goals for us, so it’s great to see those benefits coming through in your day-to-day work.

I also appreciate your honest feedback about the challenge of writing formulas and knowing which ones to use. This is an area we’re actively focused on improving. To help with this, we’ve expanded our learning resources, including Velixo Academy at learning.velixo.com, our new Help Center at help.velixo.com, and a growing report template repository with ready-to-use examples. These are all designed to make formulas easier to understand and help users become productive more quickly. We also have some have ground-breaking improvements coming next year, too, stay tuned!

Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback and for choosing Velixo.

Warm regards,

"I love Velixo"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

It's completely integrated with Acumatica and I get to use my Excel skills. Reports are professional looking, easy to keep updated saves me HOURS every month so I don't have to export data, reformat it and then analyze. If I need some quick information Velixo is the first place I look to get it, I go to Velixo daily, maybe even more often than Acumatica. And the distribution feature is the best - saves so much time and automatically changes the parameters on my reports to distribute to the correct department.

It's super easy to implement and get up and going immediately. Whenever I've had an issue customer support responds timely. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

The downside is that it is not a cloud-based product like Acumatica so employees that need my reports have to wait until I distribute them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Janet Keating of Velixo

Thank you so much for taking the time to provide us feedback. We're thrilled Velixo is working so well for you. Would you be willing to chat with me around your distribution challenges? I think we might have a few potential ideas for you. Please reach out to my team and I at customer success @ velixo.com and we'll be happy to help!

"Boosts Reporting Efficiency with Seamless Acumatica Integration"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

I use Velixo to pull information from Acumatica to bridge together reports, which makes it convenient for creating templates and populating reports quickly. I love how it speeds up the reporting process, as I no longer have to download reports and manually copy and paste data. This is especially valuable for the reports I use daily, saving me a lot of time. It's also great for assigning responsibilities to others while ensuring the accuracy of the data being used. One feature I really like is the quick refresh; it’s easy to connect to our system, and the refresh only takes a few minutes, even with larger data points. I find the setup for connecting my login to be very user-friendly and easy to train others on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

I wish that it would give us the ability to populate data from our custom UDFs, we have many on our stock/non-stock items and having that information would be valuable in our reports. Right now I still have to populate those manually. In addition, in the Excel desktop app, the Velixo menu does not auto open anymore, so if you do not click the box and connect, it does not always refresh the reports. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Gabriel Michaud of Velixo

Thank you so much for this detailed and thoughtful review — I read every single one, and this one really resonated with me. Eliminating the manual copy-paste grind, speeding up daily reports, delegating with confidence in the data accuracy — that's exactly what Velixo is built for, so it's great to hear it's delivering on all of that.

I did want to flag something on the UDFs: it is absolutely possible to pull data from custom UDFs in Velixo! I'd love to show you how — it might save you quite a bit of time. Please reach out to me directly at gabriel@velixo.com and I'll walk you through it.

On the Excel desktop app menu not auto-opening — that's a known behaviour change and I'd also be happy to share a quick tip to make that smoother for you.

Thanks again, and I hope to hear from you soon!

"Effortless Reporting with Seamless Acumatica Integration"
5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

I use Velixo for reporting and automation. I appreciate how easy it is to pull data quickly from Acumatica ERP and the ability to write data back directly from Excel instead of doing a separate entry. I also like that it allows report distribution with attachments without having to download them individually. What I like most about Velixo is its ease of use, especially with the four training sessions that gave me everything I needed. It came with a ton of out-of-the-box templates that worked immediately for everything I required and were free. I also value the native integration with Acumatica that requires no setup or separate API maintenance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

The handoff from sales to the implementation team was confusing and I had to spend a while with support. They were in the middle of releasing a large update to their templates and features, but hadn't updated their documentation yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Gabriel Michaud of Velixo

Wow, thank you for this incredibly detailed 5-star review — I read every single one personally, and this one put a big smile on my face. Hearing that the write-back from Excel, the report distribution, the out-of-the-box templates, and the native Acumatica integration all landed exactly as intended really means a lot to our team.

That said, I want to be honest about the feedback on the sales-to-implementation handoff and the documentation lag — you’re right, and that’s on us. Releasing a large update without having the docs ready to match is something we’re actively working to improve. I’m glad support was able to get you sorted, but you shouldn’t have had to spend that time in the first place.

If there’s ever anything I can help with directly, don’t hesitate to reach out at gabriel@velixo.com. Thanks again — reviews like this one genuinely fuel the team.

"Effortless Data Management with Velixo, Minor Glitchy Add-in"
5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

I like Velixo because it imports all of our data into Excel with just a click to refresh. It helps us significantly reduce close time once the initial setup is complete. The feature I like most is the ability to create generic inquiries, import them into Velixo, and view them in Excel where I can filter the data to focus on specific information. This feature makes it much easier and faster for handling data, especially since I can set up reconciliations and simply refresh to spot outliers. The initial setup was very easy, so much so that my coworker and I did it ourselves without much involvement from our technology team. A consultant only spent a brief time to help us, and then we were able to start using it right away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

My only complaint, I think, about Velixo would be that the Excel add-in can be temperamental sometimes. I have to go back in and re-add it, then close out of Excel and open it back up, but that usually solves the problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Gabriel Michaud of Velixo

Thank you so much for this wonderful review — I read every single one personally, and this one is a great reminder of why we do what we do. The fact that you and your coworker were able to set things up largely on your own, reduce close time, and get reconciliations running with a simple refresh — that’s exactly the experience we aim for.

On the add-in occasionally being temperamental — I hear you, and I’m sorry for the friction. This is often related to Excel’s own add-in loading behaviour rather than Velixo itself, but that’s cold comfort when you’re in the middle of your work. If it keeps happening, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at gabriel@velixo.com — I’d like to make sure we get to the bottom of it for you.

Thanks again for the 5 stars and the kind words — it genuinely means a lot to the whole team!

"Accounting with AI"

What do you like best about Velixo?

What I like best about Velixo is how seamlessly it integrates with Excel. It makes pulling data from ERP systems like Acumatica super easy and fast, especially for financial reporting. I don’t have to export and clean up reports manually—everything updates in real time, which saves a ton of time and reduces errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

One thing I dislike about Velixo is that the initial setup can be a bit tricky, especially if you're not familiar with your ERP system’s structure. Also, if your data set is large, performance can slow down a bit in Excel. It’s a powerful tool, but there’s a bit of a learning curve for new users Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Janet Keating of Velixo

We're glad to hear that you find Velixo's integration with Excel seamless and efficient for pulling data from Acumatica. We understand that the initial setup can be challenging, and we're continuously working to improve the onboarding experience for new users. As for performance with large data sets, we're constantly looking for ways to optimize and apprecoate your feedback!

"Efficient Reporting with Room for Improvement"
5/5
What do you like best about Velixo?

I use Velixo to run reports from Acumatica, and it makes it easier to use only one report instead of having to go into Acumatica to look up each item every time. It's easy to use and very efficient. The initial setup was pretty easy once I had all the credentials I needed to log in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Velixo?

Sometimes I need to refresh the entire worksheet to update to the most recent data, which can be a bit inconvenient. It would be better if it automatically refreshed on its own without having to hit the refresh page button. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Damien Zwillinger of Velixo

Thank you for sharing your feedback! We're glad to hear that Velixo is easy to use and a time saver for your Excel reports. Did you know that you could refresh your reports automattically at the time you open your workbook? (this is a setting in Options). Otherwise Velixo is meant to auto-refresh when a filter is changed.

We'd love to see if we can help you with your refresh use case. Please contact us at customersuccess @ velixo.com (no spaces). We look forward to hearing from you.
