The user interface is pretty easy to grasp if you have done any video editing before. **What do you dislike about VEGAS Pro?** New users will struggle with how to create content. The layout can be confusing at times, and is more optimized to multi-display PC's. **Recommendations to others considering VEGAS Pro:** Be aware it is an on going learning process. **What problems is VEGAS Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Helping online companies create a brand, and strengthen there organisations within the company, which in turn saves money in the long term. ### 2. When you move events on the timeline, visual alignment confirmation and user-definable snapping tools ensure that your media lands exactly where you need it with frame accuracy, and even sub-frame accuracy for audio. Automatically move or slip audio or video inside an event to synchronize media quickly and accurately. Insert audio or video envelopes to interactively control stereo or surround-sound panning and volume, video event velocity, and video track opacity. And that’s just the beginning of what you can do. **What do you dislike about VEGAS Pro?** I was just wondering, I'm having some preview quality problems, if I play it in VLC or media player it is in pretty good quality. But when I import into Sony Vegas the video quality takes a dive and the preview shows the video with a lot of big pixels and blurry. I don't know the reason behind this, I haven't tried rendering it so I don't know if it's just the preview that has bad quality. **What problems is VEGAS Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** I don't know ### 3. Excellent piece of video editing software! **Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Retail | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 13, 2016 **What do you like best about VEGAS Pro?** The rendering is nice and smooth and you can customise the settings to get the best quality to even the smallest of proportions and the learning curve takes a little time to get used to but once you are there you are on a role! **What do you dislike about VEGAS Pro?** Software crashes at random intervals even during rendering which can be annoying even when the video has almost finished rendering. **Recommendations to others considering VEGAS Pro:** It is honestly a great piece of software but the crashing can get annoying after some time, but hopefully Sony will release a update to fix this issue! **What problems is VEGAS Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** Multimedia Marketing ### 4. There are better products like premiere that are more efficient and give a more professional product. **Recommendations to others considering VEGAS Pro:** Do not buy this product if you can afford premiere pro. If you are only looking for basics, this is your product. **What problems is VEGAS Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have realized this is for beginners to use, and it is for people who are looking for only basic video editing. ### 5. Other NLEs took a while to figure out, but this program seemed pretty intuitive, but not so simple that I felt like I wasn't getting any professional looking videos. In addition, my favorite feature is probably the auto-cross fade. **What do you dislike about VEGAS Pro?** It's, as far as I know, Windows only. I would like there to be a Mac version. **Recommendations to others considering VEGAS Pro:** If a company is jumping into editing videos, especially on Windows based systems, Sony Vegas Pro is a good choice. The learning curve is not steep, so it shouldn't take too long to figure out. Plus, it's been around a long time, so any kinks it may have had in the beginning are ironed out. **What problems is VEGAS Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** N/A. It is extremely user friendly and audio mixing is one of the things it does best. **What do you dislike about VEGAS Pro?** Occasionally I have difficulty recording a live track into Vegas and experience some odd audio artifacts when doing so. **What problems is VEGAS Pro solving and how is that benefiting you?** The benefit of using Vegas is that it is user-friendly enough to just dive in and create a project, but also has allot to offer for more advanced video editing if need be. ### 7.
