We ended up losing all our test reports for a major release, as well as performance logs and regression artifacts. Everything disappeared from the OneDrive recycle bin because of the retention policy. Veeam resolved this issue by keeping an immutable backup from before the deletion happened. This backup spared my team and me from having to re-run hundreds of tests, which would have been a huge waste of time. Thanks to this, we managed to recover all the historical data we needed for our compliance audit and for future debugging. The second major challenge Veeam helped us overcome was improving our security confidence. In the past, we stored sensitive reports on our local machines because we didn’t trust the cloud for long-term storage or ransomware protection. With Veeam’s immutability feature, our IT team reassured us that we’re protected even if the live OneDrive is compromised. This is a significant advantage. I really appreciate the convenience Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 offers. When I need to manage project files or communicate with schools or colleges, it streamlines my network operations to a point where I can complete tasks in a matter of minutes. The efficiency of Veeam Data Cloud for Microsoft 365 in terms of accessing and consolidating my files, documentation, and emails into one isolated place is a huge advantage for me. What I value most is its effective cloud access, which ensures I have my important documents readily available, thus solving the problem of scattered documentation. Despite the strenuous initial setup as an individual user, the detailed control over my files it provides allows me to streamline my work, making the overall experience very manageable and efficient.
