What I like most is that Vectr now combines a simple vector editor with useful AI tools. I can start with an AI-generated idea, then fine-tune it manually in the same workspace instead of switching between different apps. The browser-based editor is easy to use, and the real-time collaboration feature is helpful when sharing designs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Vectr? The AI tools are useful, but I would like more control over the generated results and a few more editing options after generation. What problems is Vectr solving and how is that benefiting you? Vectr helps me create vector graphics much faster by combining AI-assisted design with standard editing tools. Whether I need a quick concept, convert an image to a vector, or refine a logo, I can do most of it in one place. What I like most about Vectr is that it is a friendly solution to design and it allows me to do many basic design operations very easily. Another thing that I really like is that if I have any questions, the program provides a great tutorial with YouTube videos that shows all the different tools available. Also I can export the files as png, svg or jpg, and the result will be a high quality vector so change size in other applications or programs. In general, it is really easy to use and learn, it has extensive uses and it is very professional to be an online and free program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about Vectr? The only thing I do not like are the ads that appear when I'm doing some design in Vectr, the ads change too often, which makes the program a little slow sometimes. What problems is Vectr solving and how is that benefiting you? The main benefit I get when using Vectr is that I save a lot of work time. With Vectr I have been able to create excellent designs very fast and of great quality. So I finish my jobs super fast and I can do many more things. Something that stands out to me is that the design tools in Vectr aren't overly novice DIY tools that play up the user-friendliness angle. Sure, Vectr is simple enough for novice users to use, but it can also be leveraged for more advanced designs. It's awesome that we can work with and save vector graphics. Many other online software platforms I've seen only allow rasterized image files like JPEG and PNG. The price for using Vectr and all its features is not too bad. I'm glad we can afford it. I'm used to using more advanced graphic design applications like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, so there are many aspects about the tools that fall short of the vast capabilities of those two applications. Vectr works for simple graphic projects or making minor adjustments to existing graphics, but I would find it really hard to perform all of the design processes I need with just Vectr alone. Recommendations to others considering Vectr: I think Vectr strikes a good balance between user friendliness, advanced editing features and value for the price. What problems is Vectr solving and how is that benefiting you? Whenever I need to design something simple and quickly, I can turn to Vectr from any computer to get design work done. The tools weren't too complicated to use, so it was helpful I didn't have to spend hours trying to figure out how things work. In many ways, Vectr is actually more beneficial than professional software like the two from Adobe I mentioned, since Vectr offers tools that are geared towards certain design types, like infographics, in a more direct way than the Adobe software. It's free and can quickly complete simple graphics projects. I just needed to annotate some photos and we can't afford Illustrator. It's a complicated in my department to get IT to obtain more software so finding Vectr.com was a godsend. It just took a few minutes to get my work done. Given that this is free, and I could complete my image embellishment in minutes with results on par with Adobe Illustrator or Inkscape, I'm delighted with Vectr and will continue to use it. I enjoyed the portability of everything being cloud based and behind an email/password access. The interface was for the most part intuitive and easy to grasp. What do you dislike about Vectr? The web-based interface was a little buggy, especially with multiple users. They have cleaned this up recently, however it could be more reliable.
