"Robust Rendering with Room for Improvement"
4/5
What do you like best about Vectorworks Landmark?

I enjoy the rendering capabilities of Vectorworks Landmark, which was significant enough to prompt our team to switch from TurboCAD. I also appreciate the Symbols Library, which adds to the utility and ease of use for our projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vectorworks Landmark?

I find making round shapes or bending details on pipes to be too manual. When I have sheet metal and need to bend it to create a 90 degree bracket, it's still a manual process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Elena Pantazopoulos of Vectorworks Landmark

Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re glad to hear that Vectorworks Landmark’s rendering capabilities and Symbols Library have supported your team’s transition from other software. We also appreciate your feedback on modeling round shapes, pipes, and bent sheet metal. For added flexibility in 3D, you can use the Deform tool in the 3D Modeling palette to bend objects with greater control. When modeling bent pipes, try drawing the curve in 2D, creating a circular profile, and then using Extrude Along Path to generate the 3D form along that arc. We appreciate your insights as we continue improving the experience.

"A powerful all-in-one tool for landscape design"
5/5
What do you like best about Vectorworks Landmark?

Vectorworks Landmark is very strong when it comes to landscape design and site planning. I like how it integrates both 2D drafting and 3D modeling, which makes it easy to visualize projects from concept through to construction documentation. The plant database and site analysis tools are particularly useful for landscape architects, and I’ve found the GIS integration handy for working with site data. The software also feels flexible, rather than being locked into a rigid workflow, you can adapt it to different project needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vectorworks Landmark?

The learning curve is steep, especially if you’re coming from AutoCAD or Revit. Some tools aren’t always as intuitive as they could be, and it can take time to fully unlock the software’s potential. I’ve also noticed that large, complex files can sometimes slow down performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
