A core part of our service is RAG, and because they have made it both programmatic and self-improve based on different benchmarks, we do not have to develop that internally. The API is easy to use and integrate. **What do you dislike about Vectorize.io?** This is specific to us, so may not be applicable to every person that reads this. We depend on Vectorize for a huge part of our service, so we don't have the most insight into what's happening under the hood. However, we were ok with this after talking with the team and noting their technical expertise and focus on execution. **What problems is Vectorize.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** RAG + self improving RAG. This allows us to focus on building the actual agents, which is what customers care about the most. However, those agents cannot do their job effectively if the information network they depend on is inaccurate. This allows us to export this part to vectorize. ### 2. Real no-code – just connect your sources, follow the (very good) manual, and you’re up and running in no time. What stood out the most? Tons of source connectors, a fantastic guide that actually makes sense, and customer service that’s both fast and super helpful. Had a few minor issues, but they were fixed quickly after I reached out – can’t ask for much more than that! If you need a simple, no-hassle way to get a RAG solution running, I’d highly recommend Vectorize. It just works. **What do you dislike about Vectorize.io?** No, I haven’t found anything to dislike yet :-) **What problems is Vectorize.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** Vectorize.io solves one of our biggest challenges – building and feeding an internal company chatbot without spending endless time on setup and maintenance. With their many source connectors, we can easily integrate our existing knowledge and documents directly into the chatbot without having to code anything ourselves. Their platform is incredibly user-friendly, and the manual makes it easy to get started without frustration. On top of that, their customer service is top-notch – they respond quickly and fix any issues right away. The best part is that Vectorize is a true no-code solution for RAG, meaning we can focus on using our chatbot instead of worrying about technical details. We used to do them separately with different tools and it used to take us a lot of time. With Vectorise, we have reduced our time to build RAG pipelines and also do evaluation on the same platform. So Vectorise has become our go to platform for anything related to building RAG for us. We use SingleStore as our database and they support that also and that makes it even more easy for us. ### 4. Vectorize does an excellent job on all three. **What do you dislike about Vectorize.io?** Maybe one potential area to improve on would be to add to the customization options like being able to integrate a custom chunking strategy. I wanted to be able to maintain ownership of that data, and avoid paying exorbitant fees for tools like Guru, or starting things from scratch with libraries from Github. With so many options on how to approach this problem, I found out about Vectorize while browsing Reddit and learning about RAG. I was able to get started for free and created a RAG pipeline in Vectorize with very little effort, and signed up for Pinecone (also free) to store the data. After about an hour, I had everything up and running. They have tons of great connectors already for source data (I am using Firecrawl and Google Docs). I referenced Vectorize's documentation and also started a live chat with their helpful team. Testing was also super simple with their built-in "RAG Sandbox" feature that allowed me to speak directly to the RAG db without deploying any code. Fast forward 3-4 more hours, I integrated the pipeline I created in Vectorize to our company Slack and Zendesk instances via Pipedream. The results have been overwhelmingly positive, and this pipeline is automatically updating weekly with new/updated content. I simply cannot recommend this product enough to anyone looking to get a custom RAG solution up and running without burning too much time in the nitty gritty details, while still maintaining total control over the process and data. **What do you dislike about Vectorize.io?** It's hard to think of any given everything is working so well, but if I had any suggestions, in the future, I would like to see an option to add additional sources to an existing Pinecone db, without having to create a new pipeline entirely, so long as the chunking and other parameters from the model are identical. **What problems is Vectorize.io solving and how is that benefiting you?** Vectorize.io helped me build a custom AI chatbot using my company’s knowledge base while keeping full ownership of my data and avoiding the high costs of tools like Guru. I was able to set up a RAG pipeline with minimal effort, using their built-in connectors and real-time testing to get everything running in just a few hours.
