Vaytax is a German and French VAT compliance service run by a licensed German tax advisor, delivered through an English dashboard. It is built for companies outside Germany and France that sell into those countries and hold stock there, from Amazon FBA sellers to webshops and B2B wholesalers. If you are new to German VAT, we register you with the tax office (Finanzamt) and follow up until your German tax number (Steuernummer) and VAT ID arrive, typically in 4 to 8 weeks; some tax offices take considerably longer. If you already hold a number, we take it over. In France we prepare and file your registration with the tax office for foreign businesses. Each period you upload your Amazon, easybill or DATEV export, or type the figures, and confirm them. We check them, and our licensed German firm files every return through our own ELSTER connection: the monthly or quarterly VAT return (UStVA), the EC sales list (ZM) where you need one and the annual return (Jahreserklaerung). In France we file the monthly return (CA3). Every letter from the tax office lands in your account, read and explained in plain English with its deadline named. Your dashboard is the window into all of it: what is open, what was filed, the official receipts and reminders before our cutoff. Your accountant can be in copy.
