PrinterLogic does not offer a permanent free plan, but it does provide a free trial that lets users to test the product before committing to a paid plan. Trial availability and duration may vary, so users should review the seller's official pricing page for the most current details.

How much does PrinterLogic cost in 2026?

Who is PrinterLogic pricing best suited for?

Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic)'s pricing is best suited for mid-market and enterprise organizations managing distributed printer fleets across multiple locations. G2 reviewers from industries including education, healthcare, manufacturing, construction, and financial services consistently praise its ability to eliminate print servers and automate printer deployment at scale. The queue-based pricing model rewards larger deployments with lower per-unit costs, making it increasingly economical for organizations with 50 or more print queues. G2 reviewers from smaller businesses occasionally flag the upfront cost as a barrier, though MSPs managing multiple client environments also find strong value in Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic)'s centralized multi-tenant management capabilities.

What are the key differences between the free and paid versions of PrinterLogic?

Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) does not offer a permanent free tier, but G2's pricing data confirms a free trial is available for evaluation. Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic)'s paid plans start at $121.80/month for 25+ print queues and include Printer Management, Output Management, and Advanced Security across all tiers. Volume-based pricing reduces the per-queue cost as organizations scale, with 50+ queues priced at $109.60/month and enterprise-scale deployments of 100+ queues requiring a custom quote. G2 reviewers note that off-premises printing and certain identity-linking features carry additional costs beyond the base subscription, making the trial phase critical for scoping total investment.

Is PrinterLogic considered good value for its pricing?

G2 reviewers broadly consider Vasion Print (formerly PrinterLogic) a strong value despite its premium pricing. With an average rating of 4.5/5, users consistently highlight dramatic reductions in IT support tickets, elimination of on-premises print servers, and simplified multi-site printer management as tangible ROI drivers. Several G2 reviewers acknowledge the cost is on the higher end, with one noting 'it isn't cheap, you get what you pay for,' and another citing pricing as the reason they switched away. However, the majority counter that time savings and reduced infrastructure costs justify the investment. One reviewer noted switching to PaperCut after persistent bugs, suggesting value perception depends heavily on implementation success.

"PrinterLogic (Vasion Print) Simply Works—An Easy Print Management Win"

5/5

What do you like best about PrinterLogic?

Print servers have always been a headache. PrinterLogic (Vasion Print) was the opposite experience—It simply works. If you’re evaluating print management solutions, PrinterLogic is an easy recommendation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PrinterLogic?

Too many options is infrequently a bad thing, but there is a bit of a learning curve when it comes to managing the printers. After the first few that were added though, I had it figured out! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PrinterLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before Vasion Print, printing was one of our most persistent IT pain points. We were relying on traditional print servers, which meant constant driver issues, stalled queues, and user tickets every time someone moved desks, worked from another location, or a server hiccupped. Printing changes—something users expect to “just work”—were consuming a disproportionate amount of IT time.

Vasion Print solved that by removing the print server dependency entirely. Once we deployed it, printer management became centralized and predictable instead of reactive. Users could install the printers they needed without IT involvement, and printer availability followed them rather than being tied to a specific server or device. From an IT perspective, we went from babysitting print infrastructure to essentially forgetting about it.

The biggest benefit has been stability and time savings. After the initial setup, printing stopped generating noise—fewer tickets, fewer outages, and fewer emergency fixes. That freed our team up to focus on higher‑value work instead of troubleshooting something as basic as printing. In short, Vasion Print eliminated a chronic operational headache and gave us a print environment that simply works. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reduced our printer tickets by 90% and made installs easy!"

4.5/5

What do you like best about PrinterLogic?

We just started rolling out the system to our users, but from an IT view this is SO much easier, cleaner and faster than trying to get printers and drivers out to staff using our MDM solution. I don't have to build a separate package for each printer and upload it to the MDM, then push it out. I only have to upload/configure the driver(s) once per printer type and not for each individual printer. So, when adding a new printer, I can just select the driver that I've already uploaded from a drop down menu and apply it. Bonus that I only have to update that driver in one location too (admin panel), and it distributes to all the clients.

Another great feature is the ability to hide printers that are at other locations based on the user's IP address. They can travel to different locations and only see/install printers at that location. It's also nice that the users can only install the printers they are going to use and not have to sort through a list of printers that have been automatically installed that they will never use. I've also setup an auto-install for roaming users with the assistance of Jamf. Essentially, it's set up so that when a user enters a new building, Jamf sees an IP change and calls the "refresh printers" function. Because they are configured by location IP, those printers are installed, then uninstalled when they leave the building.

It also helps that I can upload a map of the building and drop the printers onto it so the users can see exactly where a certain printer is and install it right from the map. The printer icons can show whether it is a color or black and white which helps users as well.

The reporting function is quite detailed and is allowing us to "cut" out a separate system for logging print usage.

The instructions are easy to follow for setting up Azure/Entra. I'd never linked an Enterprise application before and the documentation made it very easy to do so that I could provision users and groups.

Vaison assisted us with the initial setup and offered excellent support during the trial phase. Post trial support has been quick to respond as well.

Overall, we are very happy with PrinterLogic! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PrinterLogic?

The biggest challenge that I am having is remembering where to go in order to configure certain things. We deployed the client through our MDM, but there is still a little interaction needed by the user to complete setup, which can be difficult for some users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is PrinterLogic solving and how is that benefiting you?

PrinterLogic has allowed us to decommission over a dozen individual print servers, a separate reporting system, as well as eliminating the need for individual printer setup in out MDM. Since moving to Vaison Print, we have eliminated 90% of our printer tickets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
