Vargate offers independent, cryptographically verifiable governance solutions for AI systems, ensuring secure and compliant AI operations. It comprises two primary products: Tyr and Ogma. Key Features and Functionality: - Tyr: An inline proxy that governs autonomous agent tool calls, enforcing policies to block, allow, or require approval for each action. It ensures egress and secret hygiene by stripping credentials and masking personally identifiable information (PII) before data reaches the model. Additionally, Tyr provides a rapid kill-switch capability, allowing the pausing of agent fleets within 200 milliseconds if anomalies are detected. - Ogma: An independent audit layer for human AI usage that integrates with vendor management APIs without the need for agents, proxies, or sidecars. It creates a hash-chained, blockchain-anchored audit log, ensuring every event is signed and tamper-evident. Ogma also offers anomaly and compliance alerting, flagging issues such as off-hours activity bursts, baseline drifts, and key rotations. Primary Value and User Solutions: Vargate addresses the critical need for transparent and accountable AI governance. By providing tools that enforce strict policy controls and maintain independent, immutable audit trails, Vargate empowers organizations to manage AI operations securely and in compliance with regulatory standards. This ensures that AI systems operate within defined boundaries, mitigating risks associated with autonomous decision-making and human AI interactions.
