We specifically like how Vanta is able to be a one-stop shop for our SOC2 compliance and the ability to communicate that with customers through the trust center. It also enables us to be the nerve system for auditing, compliance, and speaking with our compliance partners. Furthermore, it also has really good integrations with our system so that we don't have to do all of the gathering of information ourselves. They also have good templates. We also like that the UI and UX of it are really easy to use, as easy for anyone who's even non-technical to understand what the controls are necessary. We also like how easy it is for us to onboard. We dislike how the current monitoring offerings for monitoring controls don't have anything that rich. As a result, we can't use it as an exclusive way of handling MDM. Ganta is solving the issue of how we communicate with customers regarding our software compliance, and also working with our auditors and our other compliance partners. That enables us to spend less time on compliance and more time for our engineers to do so. In fact, one of our engineers is doing all of our software compliance, which is something that would typically be done by a CSO. I mean, most of these tools are, you know, pretty standard at this point, but I think Vanta has used their interface and how easy it is to use and how you can run the test and just fix them really quickly and assign them to different owners. I feel like I never know which tab to go to. Like, personnel is it personnel? Is it members? And then setting permissions and groups? I feel like that definitely can and should be streamlined. Also, a lot of times, you know, it picks upon workspace accounts that are obviously service accounts. What I like best about Vanta is how much manual compliance work it eliminates. The automated continuous monitoring runs against our connected integrations, so control drift surfaces on its own instead of requiring someone to go verify things by hand. For a lean security team, that's the difference between staying audit-ready year round and scrambling before every audit. Beyond the automation, it's become our single platform for the whole GRC program: ISO 27001 controls and evidence, our policy library with review cycles and employee acceptance, vendor risk assessments through the TPRM module, and personnel onboarding and offboarding tasks. Having all of that in one place instead of spreadsheets is a huge time saver. Performance has been consistently solid. The platform is fast and responsive even with a large volume of tests, policies, and vendor records, and the integration syncs run reliably in the background without needing babysitting. Onboarding was smooth as well. Connecting our integrations was straightforward, the platform guided us through getting tests and controls stood up quickly, and support has been responsive and knowledgeable whenever we've had questions. The Trust Center has also been an unexpected win. The knowledge base and answer library behind it directly cut down the time we spend on customer security questionnaires, and integrations like connecting our contract management tooling to the Commitments module keep expanding what flows in automatically. The platform also streamlines vendor reviews with its AI-powered Trust Center, slashing hours off questionnaire responses, and keeps our security posture rock-solid with continuous risk assessments. This has saved us countless hours and costs (easily hundreds of thousands annually), letting us focus on growth while confidently closing bigger deals with compliance-backed trust. I truly appreciate that Vanta acts as an always-on digital guard, continuously monitoring all the third-party software. It eliminates the administrative nightmare of audit preparation. The platform's background scanner is my primary line of defense, preparing a security checklist with issues that need fixing to comply with laws. What I like most about Vanta is its security alerts, which notify us of breaches in compliance so we can fix them before the auditor arrives. During audit season, I rely heavily on Vanta to automate tasks that used to be tedious and manual; it automatically scans software and points out potential flaws, easing my team's worries. The initial setup of Vanta was very hectic as we had to ask for permission from all third party softwares to provide access to Vanta and it's background screening. I liked how Vanta helped us monitor all of our security and compliance framework needs, allowing us to track in real time how our compliance journey was going. The functionality around Vanta's risk management system and vendor review system was great for keeping our compliance journey on track, and we managed to achieve SOC 2 compliance very quickly. Vanta's integration with other SaaS provider tools is also a big plus since it brings all of our compliance data into one place, helping manage our risk across our entire ecosystem. Having all data come through one tool allows us to see our compliance journey across our ecosystem. I also found the initial setup of Vanta to be very easy, and it took very little time. I love that I can just drop our updated IT policies into the portal and it automatically hunts down the staff to digitally sign them. Making a tiny typo fix in a policy is a massive pain because uploading a new version forces every single person to re-sign the document from scratch. It builds an airtight legal trail proving that every single worker explicitly agreed to our data handling rules before getting access to live databases. By using the integrations built into Vanta for the cloud services we use, we kept our cycle times for going from notification to fixed very low. I wish there was more integration between some of the Document tasks and our ticket tracking system, e.g. for pentest remediation it would be nice to tag those cards as "pen test remediation" and have them automatically show up on the Document task. As it is, I need to gather all the URLs and/or screenshots manually. Also, it would be smoother if updated requirements were received regularly throughout the year, instead of what feels like a significant portion of new requirements appearing during the audit period (when we're working on the audit).
