I use Valimail for tracking email services that use our domain and monitoring spoofing activity. It's easy to set up with just a few DNS changes and authentication steps, and it's super easy to use on a regular basis. Everything is visualized on a single pane of glass, and reporting is executive-ready. I appreciate the world map visualization of geographic activity which helps us focus on relevant data in the domestic market. This feature also allows us to respond effectively by increasing communication with clients when local activity spikes. I like that Valimail is very easy to understand and set up. We had it up and running with full enforcement within a couple of hours, and the setup took about five minutes. It's simple to use, and setting up SPF and everything else is super easy. I appreciate how it helps me not have to find out what Salesforce or other services' SPF records are, as I can simply select, forget, and be done with it. It also provides information about DKIMs that need to be renewed and alerts if SPFs aren't being used, helping maintain clean DKIM and SPF records. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One thing I am not a fan of is once I set a DKIM, I can no longer see the keys, so I can't really verify if I have the proper key set up. If I set up a DKIM for Salesforce, then all it does is tell me I have a DKIM for Salesforce, but it doesn't tell me what the key is, or anything like it would in a normal DNS record. So if it doesn't work, I pretty much have to delete it and start over. I don't have a way to verify that it is proper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like that you can do quite a lot on the free tier with Valimail, which is pretty great. Valimail does exactly what we needed it to do, and the free tier feature where you can check which senders you have is quite helpful. It's great for identifying senders you're not aware of, for example, if you've got shadow IT. I'm always a stickler for awesome customer service, and Valimail has that in spades! It's easy to have a great product, but when a customer needs a little extra help... that's when customer service matters most.
