It tells me what senders are failing and for what reason which makes it much easier to fix any issues. It was extremely easy to set up and get working especially if you already have SPF and DKIM in place. Customer support has helped with any questions and are pretty quick. **What do you dislike about Valimail?** I only wish the details for the statistics were a little bit more in depth. Sometimes it will say Office 365 is passing all checks but then another Office 365 sender will fail on all and I can't tell which on specifically. **What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?** We had certain senders sending out mail for us and they were getting failures back. This helped me identify which sender and which part of the DMARC check was failing. Checking that spot everything seemed ok but there was a simple typo. They have patented technology regarding the whitelisting of specific SPF records so that you don't have to worry about going over the 10 entry limit. Even if you don't go with a paid model, they offer a lot with the free subscription. Very easy to implement, as all I had to do was point my aggregate reports to send to Valimail. **What do you dislike about Valimail?** I do think that it can be a bit clunky to navigate certain parts of the dashboard. I eventually get where I need to go, but it can take me a second. In my current role, I am not checking this every day, so it's not something that I use with great frequency. When I was reviewing other options for DMARC, Valimail was the highest cost, which is definitely something you have to consider. **What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?** The problem I was facing is that I had to configure our DMARC policy to be in compliance with Google and Yahoo's new restrictions on sending only to domains that have a DMARC policy established. At first, I tried grabbing the aggregate reports myself and parsing the data. However, that became difficult to decipher very quickly. Valimail pulls in all of this data and presents it in a very readable manner that is easy to digest. ### 21. It's a helpful level of information and insight to help assure me that our emails are getting through and that there is no spam from this domain. **What do you dislike about Valimail?** Can be a bit hard to sort interpret the information given by Valimail. This free tool is more than adequate for small organizations to achieve perfect DMARC alignment, improving deliverability among all destination servers. Implementing Valimail is as easy as adding the DMARC record to your domain. **What do you dislike about Valimail?** The free version of Valimail just offers the monitoring with daily reports, but doesn't offer features to fix any alignment issues. This means I need use Valimail to look into my reports at least once a week to see if we have any alignment issues and manually fix them. Some of the listed companies on the failure reports are not as clear as they could be when trying to determine which service they belong to. **What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?** Google recently made changes to their email authentication requirements, making SPF, DKIM, and DMARC mandatory. They walked me through every step in setting up our DNS and M365. It took a while to get to the "Reject" stage of non-legit emails (it's to be expected if you want to capture everything you can) but even at the "Quarantine" stage Valimail was blocking over 90% of all emails coming into our mail server and they were all Spam or Malicious emails. We rarely received any Spam after that! Truely a must have for every business using email. We did leave Valimail but only because our SOC team purchasing a gateway service and they already having the DNS manage service built in and the hospital was trying to save money anywhere it could. I can use it as a training/educational tool for my junior team members and as a value-demonstration for our executives. **What do you dislike about Valimail?** I wish there was a way to dig in very slightly deeper into the failure rows in the reports to get information on what date they occured and what infrastructure sent the particular aggregate report. I moderately dislike what I perceive as a mild tone of FUD around RUF emails; the information is accurate, but the tone feels a bit off. There is also a very mild dark pattern around encouraging users to use Valimail's DNS service for DMARC, but requiring a hire licensing tier to enable enforcement; this is useful for SMBs without expertise and the pricing is reasonable, but I dislike the pattern. **What problems is Valimail solving and how is that benefiting you?** Valimail is solving the lack of visibility into DMARC reporting.
