Anyone is able to download them simply by inspecting the player with any developer tools in chrome, firefox, etc. 2- UI needs improvement, a lot. It's clean but needs to be refined or even revamped. For example: - delete icon is not a dustbin, it's a shopping cart icon! ;) - items are scattered on the pages. - upload window is quite basic. No drag and drop?! The Vimeo video player isn't great and they recently increased our plan tier without us doing anything different in our account. They just found that we were using the videos on a sold product (isn't everyone?). I would have switched to Wistia, but I found the pricing to be too expensive so, alas, stuck with Vimeo for the last couple of years. Then, I recently found out about Vadoo and I absolutely love it. The videos upload quickly and the quality of the video player is amazing. Much more customizable than Vimeo (way better look) and to me stacks up well compared to Wistia despite the much lower price-point. The embeddable shares look great on the WordPress website and operate well even with the page builder that I use, Thrive Architect. I can't wait to transfer all our videos over to Vadoo and look forward to utilizing them going forward. Definitely worth checking out as they are doing great things! **What do you dislike about Vadoo?** I haven't really seen much to be upset about. I think the only negative I can think of is that Vadoo doesn't seem to be in widespread use yet. For instance, I had to use the HTML embed instead of a direct integration in Thrive Architect. That said, it doesn't really matter as the HTML embed still operated flawlessly on the page. So not really much of a negative. Perhaps, only other negative (if it is one) is they have lots of options to customize so maybe that takes away from its simplicity. Nothing too cumbersome though and I could figure it out relatively quickly. **Recommendations to others considering Vadoo:** Blown away by the level of quality and beauty of this video player. They have ample storage allowances, which I believe will meet the needs of majority of people engaged in video production work. I love that I can password protect my videos and also because the videos are encrypted, this means they cannot be easily downloaded by unauthorised persons. The best for my use case is CNAME and HLS encryption which means I can whitelabel the videos I post online, protect my video assets and make my videos look more professional. Additional information that potential clients of Vadoo TV might find useful is that the videos load very quickly depending on your wifi speed of course, the UI is simple to understand and set up and there are prebuilt landing pages ready to use. Overall, VadooTV is a decent alternative video storage provider and I am satisfied with my purchase and would recommend VadooTV to anyone seriously considering using video for marketing and course creation. No buffering. I've had some friends from different countries also view a video and no buffering issues. This makes me very happy. Even Youtube is buffering sometimes. I've actually testet it on my phone as well with a free account before buying in the paid plan. The 2nd best thing for me is Domain Security & Encryption. I don't want my videos to be stolen or posted on other sites. The 3rd thing I like is the constant development and fixing. There were so many updates made in just a few months that I was blown away. **What do you dislike about Vadoo?** What I don't necessarily like is how the dashboard is organized. You have projects, and then under projects, you have videos. Cool, but then the menu changes, and if I want to jump out completely from the video, I need to go back to all videos, then back to all projects, then I am in the main menu. It gets confusing at times because there aren't clear breadcrumbs to see; where am I at now? Am I editing the project I wanted? I think breadcrumbs or a better menu setup is necessary. So the UI could be more organized and intuitive. Analytics are pretty simple. More info could/should be included in them. Like at what time is the video most watched, what country, what browser, phone or tablet, at what point in the video does the viewership drop, etc. So this is still in the early stages. I'm not interested in the Recording tool, I have other tools for that, but it's nice to have another one I guess. Right now it seems simplistic, but if that's all you need then it's good. Maybe in the future there will be more options in this. **Recommendations to others considering Vadoo:** Just set up a free account while they still have it up. You'll get more familiar with the platform, and you'll see if this is for you or not. **What problems is Vadoo solving and how is that benefiting you?** I still want to test the "Video in email" function. This seems interesting, but would it work with all email providers? I have tried other video providers in the past, including some not-so-popular like rumble/bitchute. They are either: - too expensive with missing options like analytics, player customization, etc. - free but filled with ads - free but terribly slow. Compared to alternatives, this one offers you everything you would need for your video needs at an affordable price. If you want to check it out, see the free version. You'll get 1GB of storage with unlimited bandwidth! I'm pretty sure you'll be blown away by the speed and simplicity of this, that you'll probably get in the Pro version soon after that. The streaming quality is excellent. They have no ads. They also have integrations capabilities such as Vimeo, Youtube, Zapier, Google drive and Amazon S3. And the list is growing. The developers are constantly adding more features to the app to add value to it. I also like their built-in analytics feature, it tracks completion rate, video views, video plays and the play rate itself. You can also filter by date range. Domain level security is also one of their great features. What it does is to give us the ability to embed my videos on the domains that I desired but not any other domains. So people can't just take the embedding code and put it on their sites. It truly is very useful for on-demand video streaming. **What do you dislike about Vadoo?** The app really doesn't have much that I dislike about, if I have to pick on it, I would say - the video watermark is not a part of their presets setting and the preset option is not available in an existing configured videos. In other words, their UX and UI still have room to improve so the users can upload and configure their videos faster. **Recommendations to others considering Vadoo:** I recommend you to check on their Support center (http://help.vadoo.tv) to see what other capabilities and planning Vadoo has. So you can have a better understanding if Vadoo is a good fit for you. **What problems is Vadoo solving and how is that benefiting you?** I need a video streaming solution for my projects that is cost-effective, efficient, and reliable. I tried Youtube but it has so many ads and you have no control over any of them. So I dived into another video CDN service called Swarmify SmartVideo but it didn't work for me. Although their CDN function really works but their APP is so poorly made and have so little functionality. I can't even see what videos I have on their platform, not mentioning a way to remove a video. Plus, I can't upload any videos directly onto their platform. Their dashboard is pretty useless. So far, I am quite happy with Vadootv Player. ### 19. But there is an open Roadmap where you can see many useful features under development, including an RSS feed for podcasts. Their plans are much more generous than most other options. Their uptime and performance so far are excellent and much improved from our prior video host. VadooTV is an affordable option to own your content, and no longer be at the mercy of YouTube. No Ads. CTAs in your videos. CNAME & white list available. VadooTV is simply the greatest option out there right now for your video hosting needs. Oh, and people can't easily download your content like they can on YouTube. Give VadooTV a try. You won't regret it. **What do you dislike about Vadoo?** I wish CNAME was available on the plan I am on. I spent a good amount of money, but CNAME is still out of reach. Other than that, it's still quite early and the developers have already improved so much. They should let you add the video/image compression tool as a feature available to all users, so we can upload video/image, get it compressed and then download or leave it on Vadoo as an uploaded video. I love the High-Speed CDN service but I will miss the buffer pause on youtube etc...where I go get my coffee refills! I am impressed and relieved by the stout content protection through password protection of content and the option of domain restriction to restrict unauthorized access. The combination of a proven product with an inspiring RoadMap along with responsive support and founder team make for a solid foundation to invest in an ongoing relationship with the company and not just buy a product. The Video Bubbles are a wonderful tool useful even if not original.
