CDN appears to be made of multiple CDNs, which is a great bonus, but I have not had a chance to test it thoroughly. CTA functionality works well; as such, it is not a simple hosting service. The video player can be integrated with existing YouTube, Vimeo videos. Although your storage is limited according to your plan, your bandwidth is unlimited. It's automatically encoding the video once uploaded and delivers different video quality to the user to watch, also allow the user to select the quality of the video manually. The other best thig is HLS encryption, to prevent some user to download the video using IDM. Customizing the video player feature is good, so the video can be used in many different use cases. I can customize the player theme to meet the academy theme, which is fantastic. The Video Analytics look very basic, but it does give the most important detail of what we need to know how the video performs. The last thing is the call to action; I can collect feedback from students after they finish watching each lesson. **What do you dislike about Vadoo?** Audio Player is still not user-friendly yet. It is still tiny and not optimized for mobile devices. There is no video folder to better manage the video. **Recommendations to others considering Vadoo:** Vadoo is fantastic and simple to use. This means that I have a lot of control over who can see my content and makes it very difficult (if at all possible) to be downloaded. Most other platforms don't offer HLS, which means it is very easy to download entire videos. For those who are providing educational or entertainment options, this is a crucial addition. Additionally, having landing pages and CTA is an amazing bonus! **What do you dislike about Vadoo?** No major dislkes yet. I did find it a little frustrating that CNAME was only included in the upper cost tier, but understandably it is a premium feature. Having a few CNAME options at the upper tier would have been nice, but will use one as an overall umbrella for all my projects to run under. I will look to update this review if there are any issues that appear, but so far it appears it was built exactly for my needs. **What problems is Vadoo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Since a lot of my projects involved creative media for entertainment, as well as educational tutorials, the value is in the video and audio content. My biggest concern was about people pulling my videos and distributing or being able to re-embed the videos elsewhere, and the options offered wthin Vadootv make this a breeze. HLS breaks the video into small chunks and provides pieces at a time to the viewer. This also means if they experience a period of sluggish bandwidth, the stream quality will drop slightly, then bump back up. Having this option means your entire video is not being delivered at once, and therefore can not be easily downloaded. Additionally, you're able to watermark your videos right from within the platform, whereas I can't do that on my basic video edting software. ### 9. I've previously used the Vimeo business plan to host my content, but always felt they're embedded player was outdated and didn't allow for customization to fit my brand. I also am extremely pleased with the playback speeds I've experienced through extensive testing across various regions. I believe most video streaming platforms face this issue, but maybe there'll be a solution soon. Also, it is affordable. The stream is fast enough and quality is good. While the customization options are not extensive, they feel more than adequate for my needs, and I was pleased by how easy it was to get started with the platform. It worked correctly when embedded on a variety of platforms, and it is nice that each video can have its own landing page if you wish. **What do you dislike about Vadoo?** The UI has to be improved much more, but I'm glad that it is focused on features first. **What problems is Vadoo solving and how is that benefiting you?** I was looking for an alternative to other video hosting options. It needs support for higher resolution like 4k and better bitrate. I would have hit that buy button but was hesitant on if this deal could deliver. The first reviews did not give this AppSumo enough time for reviewing. So I waited to see more tested reviews from the community. Plus I like seeing how long it takes support to answer questions and which questions are skipped. I saw this happen on many other deals on here.⁣ ⁣ The features and roadmap looks amazing. I have seen many updates rolled out and the Facebook community is great too. I even see support go back on old posts and give updates. That’s awesome follow up. I thought from the beginning this deal was great but thought it was too good to be true. Obviously I was wrong. So far I have seen it exceed my expectations.⁣ ⁣ I run and agency and I also coach agency owners. What made me gravitate to this deal was the part of following rules. I had another AppSumo deal [KillerPlayer] and even though there are updates. I saw too many times the app would go down and that does not look good on a membership portal. This platform makes it possible for me to present my work to my clients in a professional way. Allowing me to have worry free headaches if my videos are up or down. The extra layer of security is definitely a bonus.⁣ ⁣ Onboarding was a breeze and the platform has everything I wanted. I real feel the developers are doing a stellar job with updating and new features. Speed of videos are fast. I have not tested out the Chrome extension yet. I have been a long-time Vimeo subscriber so finding a Lifetime Deal alternative was definitely worth investigating. Reading the information supplied, watching the webinar and reading the reviews and more importantly the questions and answers provided, helped me decide to make a Tier 5 purchase. I’ve only uploaded and embedded a few videos so far, however things look positive. Especially as there seems to be a focus on continued development and improvement. When I uploaded my first HD video it did not have the HD option after it was embedded on a web page. I discovered that you need to enable HD at the project level before uploading the file. I simply deleted the first video and uploaded it again. I also noticed that within the admin area the theme colour shows as a default colour, even though it has been changed. This is a little confusing, as from memory, it seemed to show the correct colour when embedded. **What do you dislike about Vadoo?** So far and after only very limited use I only have one issue. It’s that you only get one CNAME to use with all of your projects. I had expected to be able to have a different CNAME for each of the projects. That way I could connect the project to my clients’ domain name. I hope that there will be development in this area in the future. **What problems is Vadoo solving and how is that benefiting you?** Vadoo TV enables me to present videos on various websites and is an alternative to Vimeo or Wistia. ### 49.
