But the technical support is beyond great, and is also essential for a product like this. I also am really pleased with the option of my end-users to connect via RDP OR a browser (wenconnect)... that is something that really increases the value for us. **What do you dislike about V2 Cloud?** Well, it would be great if local scanners connected like the printers do. The price point of 3rd-party options to possibly get scanners to work is prohibitive. We are a company with 6 employees and being able to exchange data and files without emailing it or using a thumb drive, or having to maintain a server is wonderful. **What do you dislike about V2 Cloud?** The RAM offered with the smaller packages really isnt enough to run anything of significance. Even Edge or Chrome will use up the Ram. While the offering is reliable, what really impresses us is the customer service anytime we have tech issues, whether to install software or address specific user issues etc they jump on it instantly. It helps someone like me that wouldn't use the VM 24/7. I currently run an in-house server, if you will. This is just something I set up in my house with a bunch of oracle vbox machines that I could easily access through my network based on what I need. I also installed Wireguard VPN quickly and have had zero issues with connection from my remote workstation > V2Cloud workstation > Internal Lan over wireguard. I'm using the lowest tiered workstation, which is currently $35/month. This price is very competitive with other similar solutions. Out of several cloud-based virtual desktop solutions that I have tried over the last few months (including Amazon Workspaces, Azure Virtual Desktop, Shells.com, and Kamatera), V2Cloud was the only one that reliably worked in the specific environment that I am accessing it from (Proxied network with locked-down browser). The latency has been low and allows me to do the tasks I require in the virtual desktop, such as programming in VScode and maintaining a remote network environment via WebGUIs and terminals. **What do you dislike about V2 Cloud?** Two things I think could improve the product: 1. Implement multi-monitor support on the web-client. It is currently only available on the desktop-client. 2. Allow a local-only installation of the desktop-client for those who do not have admin privileges. **What problems is V2 Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** I can use it as a jumping point to a network that I cannot otherwise access from my location. Great performance. They don't try to limit what programs you can run, unlike many other vendors. I have full admin privileges, so I don't need their help installing or updating any programs. Support is responsive via chat during business hours. **What do you dislike about V2 Cloud?** The log-in process is clunky. They won't let you print to a local network printer without a site-to-site VPN for some reason, which isn't a restriction I have ever encountered in 10+ years of using remote VMs. Their support is not very helpful in setting up a site-to-site VPN. They set it up on their side but weren't willing or weren't able to help me configure my VPN hardware on my side, so I ultimately abandoned it and just gave up. **What problems is V2 Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?** My old hosted VM vendor (Azure) kept nickeling and diming me on every conceivable metric, causing my bill to increase month over month without end. I self hosted for 2 years after that, but the performance was not good and I had to pay for IT support for the hardware and local networking issues. The cost fo V2 is not much more than I was paying for IT support alone and now I don't have to worry about power/internet outages at the office interrupting my ability to log in and work. ### 33.
