Vray has become very user friendly- Ease to implement, Cosmos has become an essential in day to day, Hybrid workflow, always adding new features, customer support never takes long to get back to you, Vray is very easey to intergrade into any workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about V-Ray?

Rendering time can be slow, lack of Path Tracer with ray tracing to keep up with the times. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The most complete rendering engine"
5/5
What do you like best about V-Ray?

That I can edit any parameter and adjust it to the highest level of realism, thus helping the renders to be realistic to their maximum level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about V-Ray?

Learning is quite difficult, it would help if it were a bit more intuitive. At the same time, having the possibility to create an .exe file to send to a client, like Enscape has, so they can view the project, that would be VERY useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from dijana boshkova of V-Ray

Hi Adriano, thank you for the review! We’re glad to hear that V-Ray’s deep level of control helps you fine-tune parameters and achieve a high degree of realism in your renders.

We also appreciate your feedback on the learning curve, client-sharing options, and material workflows. Input like this is valuable as we continue improving usability and expanding V-Ray’s ecosystem. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience!

"Complicated journey but allais with satisfaction"
3.5/5
What do you like best about V-Ray?

I like the fact chaos group allways upgrade V-ray and associated software like cosmos or vantage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about V-Ray?

The complexity. When you try to have a fast rendering with fast materials settings it's not very possible. You allways have to spend long time to have a good scene. Maybe use the IA will be a game changer for fast rendering préliminary production. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Effortless Photorealism with V-Ray"
5/5
What do you like best about V-Ray?

I really like V-Ray for creating photorealistic renders which make my projects more realistic. The library is great and the setup is very easy. I also appreciate that it's an up-to-date program. The interactive render feature is super helpful as it assists me in understanding which materials are the same and ensures that when I make changes in my model, the render updates as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about V-Ray?

The light setting is a bit hard to make changes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from dijana boshkova of V-Ray

Thank you for the review! We’re glad to hear that V-Ray fits smoothly into your workflow and helps you create photorealistic results.

We also appreciate your feedback on light settings, as input like this helps guide ongoing usability improvements. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience!

"Chaos V-Ray"
4/5
What do you like best about V-Ray?

What I like most about V-Ray is the quality of the final renders, it consistently delivers photorealistic results that look incredible. The engine handles complex scenes with a lot of geometry, textures, and lighting setups very well, giving me confidence that no matter how detailed my project gets, V-Ray can manage it. I also appreciate the flexibility and control it offers, which makes it powerful for fine-tuning the look and achieving exactly what I envision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about V-Ray?

While V-Ray excels with complex projects, I find it could be faster when working on simpler scenes. The interactive preview rendering (IPR) feedback sometimes feels slower than I would like, which can interrupt the creative flow when making quick adjustments. Faster iteration speed in the IPR would make the overall experience even better, especially for look-development and testing ideas before committing to a full render. "Realistic Rendering with Stability Issues"
5/5
What do you like best about V-Ray?

I love how V-Ray delivers exceptionally realistic rendering, which significantly aids in my professional work. The addition of Cows' Cosmos has made a noticeable difference for me, and the sophisticated settings for delays prove to be incredibly useful. The setup process is straightforward, allowing me to begin using it without hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about V-Ray?

I find working with V-Ray more complicated than other software. Additionally, I experience many crashes and bugs when using it with SketchUp, which is quite frustrating. I also believe that the subscription model can be expensive, especially for freelancers, as having both V-Ray and Vantage feels costly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful rendering software that fits perfectly into the Rhino workflow for design."
5/5
What do you like best about V-Ray?

V-Ray fits perfectly into Rhino. I can use V-Ray to visualize my 3D models without opening a separate program or exporting my 3D model. This allows it to be very convenient and versatile. It can be used to produce simple and quick visualizations, as well as complex, realistic renderings. For this reason, I find myself using it every day, even just for exporting some quick barely-rendered views of my 3D model. It also makes it very easy to produce material for creating more abstract or artful design collages, rather than full photorealistic renders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about V-Ray?

V-Ray is not very user-friendly. It is difficult to use if you haven't done a few tutorials beforehand. However, there are good tutorials out there, and after completing a few hours of them, it's easy to begin to use the program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"VRay Professional"
4.5/5
What do you like best about V-Ray?

I use VRay every day at work. While it's easy to get started with, I continue to discover new features and techniques each week. The controls and settings are intuitive, allowing me to achieve impressive results right from the very first render. VRay is a fast and reliable rendering engine that integrates seamlessly with architectural visualization projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about V-Ray?

The IPR occasionally experiences bugs, and I've observed that it tends to slow down when handling more complex scenes. I'm also concerned about the current price, especially since there are now cheaper or even free engines available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from dijana boshkova of V-Ray

Thank you for the review! We’re glad to hear that V-Ray supports your day-to-day architectural visualization work with intuitive controls, reliable performance, and high-quality results from the very first render.

We also appreciate your feedback around IPR performance and pricing. Input like this is valuable as we continue optimizing stability and refining the overall experience. Thanks again for taking the time to share your experience!
